Actor Lee Dong-gun went to work at his café in Jeju, which he personally launched, even on holidays.

Lee Dong-gun posted a photo on the 20th along with the English phrase "All credit goes to the owner."

The released photo shows Lee Dong-gun arriving at the café he recently opened in Jeju. Lee Dong-gun welcomed customers as the owner from the morning of the holiday and began working with staff. Recently, controversies surrounding his café, including complaints and tensions with nearby merchants, have surfaced, but he remained undeterred, showcasing his "hard work" mode as he traveled between Seoul and Jeju.

Earlier, Lee Dong-gun revealed through the SBS variety show "My Little Old Boy" that running a small café in Jeju had been a long-time dream. He subsequently obtained a loan of 200 million won to establish the café in Jeju, and during the soft opening, celebrities such as Lee Sang-min and Koo Bon-seung also worked as part-time staff.

"Lee Dong-gun Café" became an instant hotspot in Jeju, but it also led to backlash. Nearby café owners have targeted him.

Recently, an individual running a café, referred to as A, posted on their personal account, "The café opened behind ours is Lee Dong-gun Café. They worked until 11 p.m., making it impossible for us to sleep, and our dog Jin-soon couldn’t sleep either." They continued, "It seems they use our parking. I have no attachment to my café and promote other cafés, but this is not a good impression to start with."

Another café owner, referred to as B, shared A's post, emphasizing, "Some residents live here, but it seems they worked late into the night to coincide with shooting schedules. Isn't it basic courtesy to ask for understanding first? Even after complaints, they continued working until 11 p.m." B also acknowledged, "In fact, Lee Dong-gun Café has revitalized the commercial area, allowing our parking and café to thrive during peak season," while confessing, "I hate seeing people prosper who lack courtesy more than making money."

B also mentioned, "To take advantage of the 'fun factor,' we are considering changing the café name to 'Tiara Café' so that people will have no choice but to take photos of Lee Dong-gun Café and our café." He added a provocative remark, stating, "I repay disrespect with disrespect," referencing Lee Dong-gun's previous public relationship with former Tiara member Ji-yeon. Eventually, B faced criticism for posting a café logo with 'Tiara' written in English, which was deemed as 'rude.'
