Japanese singer-songwriter Aimyon held her first concert in South Korea on the 19th at KINTEX in Goyang. Aimyon will perform twice on this day and again on the 20th. The two shows, which can accommodate 8,000 people, sold out within 10 minutes after ticket sales began at 6 p.m. on March 6.

According to Yonhap News Agency, Aimyon said to Korean fans during her performance titled "Dolphin APT. in Seoul," "Is my Korean okay? But I still have a long way to go. I will try to speak hard in Korean," and added, "Hello, I am Aimyon. Nice to meet you."

Aimyon revealed, "Actually, I have kept a secret from everyone; I have been studying Korean for about a year," and stated, "(This fact) was a secret from the band members and the staff as well."

Aimyon debuted in 2015. She gained fame with songs like "I Want to Convey My Love" and "You Don’t Listen to Rock," released in 2017, and "Marigold," released in 2018, is also one of her representative songs. "I Want to Convey My Love" also made it onto the domestic Melon 'Top 100' chart.

Aimyon appeared in jeans and a white T-shirt, playing the guitar and singing. When she sang her third song, "Marigold," the audience erupted in cheers of "Wow~."

Seeing the audience's reaction, Aimyon expressed, "I was surprised. Thank you so much," and asked curiously, "Am I really that popular in Korea?" When she sang "You Don’t Listen to Rock," fans chanted along, and she joyfully shouted in Korean, "Great!"

Inspired by the concert title "Dolphin APT.," she sang a line from Rosé's hit song "APT." saying, "APT~ APT.~"

Aimyon noted in a YouTube video released by Warner Music Korea two weeks ago that the song she wants to sing with her Korean fans is also "You Don’t Listen to Rock." She remarked, "This song is what we all sing together at the end when I perform in Japan."

Regarding her past experiences during a trip to Korea, she said, "It was really fun to drink and eat with TWICE's Chaeyoung and Momo, and also to take sticker photos, so I want to hang out again."

On what she wants to do in Korea in April, she mentioned, "Personally, I want to go to the market and eat delicious food while walking," and added, "I want to toast with members or staff after the live performance with 'somaek,' which is a mix of soju and beer."
