The dating rumor between SHINee's Taemin and dancer Noze has been dismissed as 'groundless.'
On the 17th, Taemin's agency, Big Planet Made, issued an official statement saying, 'We apologize for the delay in confirmation due to Taemin's busy schedule. The two are close colleagues who have worked together.'
The agency further requested, 'We politely ask that you refrain from excessive speculation in the future,' addressing any potential unfounded rumors following the dating rumors.
Earlier, the dating rumors between Taemin and Noze were reignited through online communities and social media. Pictures allegedly showing Taemin and an individual suspected to be Noze on a date spread through communities, triggering renewed dating suspicions.
In the released photos, the face of the woman presumed to be Noze is clearly visible, while the face of the man presumed to be Taemin is obscured by a hat and scarf. However, some internet users speculated that the individual is Taemin based on a photo of Taemin posted on social media by SHINee's Key in the past.
The date and location of the two people's date are not known, but given that SHINee's Key posted a photo of Taemin on social media in December 2023, fans estimate it was before then.
In particular, the dating rumors between the two have been mentioned several times among fans. Some fans claimed that they heard Taemin's voice in a video sent to fans by Noze on a fan communication platform and suggested that the ring performance Taemin presented at the concert was meant for Noze, who had been invited as an audience member.
In relation to this, Taemin's agency stated on the 16th that they were 'confirming,' but the day after, on the 17th, they concluded their confirmation with Taemin and stated that they are 'close colleagues.'
Meanwhile, Taemin will hold SHINee's seventh solo concert 'SHINee WORLD Ⅶ [E.S.S.A.Y] (Every Stage Shines Around You)' from May 23 to 25 at the KSPO DOME in Olympic Park, Seoul.
Noze gained popularity by appearing as the leader of the crew Wavy on Mnet's 'Street Woman Fighter,' which aired in 2021. She also garnered attention for her roles as a dancer for SHINee's Taemin, EXO's Kai, and Big Bang's Taeyang.
However, Noze has faced allegations of bullying in her contracts with small and medium enterprises and advertising, leading her to suspend her activities in the entertainment industry. She is set to make her comeback through 'World of Street Woman Fighter,' which airs in May.
