The final lineup of the 2025 Weverse Con Festival (hereinafter referred to as WICONF) has been filled with trending artists that make the heart of global fandom race. From the second-year ILLIT to the 25th anniversary debut of BoA this year, the best artists spanning all generations of K-pop are expected to present a hot stage.
HYBE and the global superfan platform Weverse announced the final lineup, which includes AKMU, VIVIZ, TOMORROW X TOGETHER, ENHYPEN, LE SSERAFIM, BOYNEXTDOOR, 82MAJOR, ILLIT, and tribute artist BoA, through the Weverse Con Festival homepage on the 17th. With this, this year's WICONF will have a total of 27 teams participating, marking the largest lineup ever.
The WICONF lineup has become even more diverse, from artists making their first appearances this year to those performing for three consecutive years.
First, artists with exceptional charm and strong fan bases will enhance the richness of the festival by visiting WICONF for the first time.
AKMU, which has built an original musical world through self-producing for over the past decade, will take the stage at WICONF for the first time. With witty and unique lyrics, AKMU has built a solid fan base, and their fresh stage is expected to broaden the musical horizons of WICONF.
Following the success of the challenge for the title track 'MANIAC' from their mini album 'VERSUS', VIVIZ will also participate in WICONF. After holding their first world tour last year and meeting fans around the world, VIVIZ continues to be active with the release of their mini album 'VOYAGE'.
The 'performance idol' 82MAJOR will also share the stage with K-pop artists of different generations at WICONF. Known for their intense visuals and unique style through their recent mini album 'SILENCE SYNDROME,' 82MAJOR is expected to clearly showcase their presence at WICONF.
TOMORROW X TOGETHER, ENHYPEN, LE SSERAFIM, and BOYNEXTDOOR, artists from the HYBE music group who have captivated music fans worldwide, will also all participate in WICONF for three consecutive years.
TOMORROW X TOGETHER's stage, which felt like a solo concert as they performed both outdoor and indoor shows on the first day of last year's WICONF, is drawing attention. TOMORROW X TOGETHER will showcase their 'Stage Teller' persona—combining 'stage' and 'storyteller'—after recently completing their first European tour following their record of entering Japan's four major domes in the shortest time among Korean artists.
ENHYPEN, who stood on the stage of the world's largest music festival 'Coachella,' will be returning to WICONF. Since their debut with the regular second album 'ROMANCE: UNTOLD' in February, ENHYPEN has achieved their first 'triple million seller,' establishing themselves as a powerhouse in the music industry. Their WICONF performance is anticipated to elevate the heart rates of global music fans.
LE SSERAFIM, which debuted with their mini album 'HOT' last month and made it onto the Billboard 200 album chart for two consecutive weeks, will present an energetic 'HOT' stage. LE SSERAFIM has firmly established themselves as a global top girl group, being the only fourth-generation K-pop girl group to chart in the top 10 of 'Billboard 200' with four consecutive albums.
BOYNEXTDOOR will take the newly established outdoor stage at WICONF in the evening and glamorously decorate the summer festival. After successfully completing their first solo tour, BOYNEXTDOOR has secured their position as a next-generation performance powerhouse by being invited to the globally renowned music festival 'Lollapalooza Chicago' scheduled for July to August.
From 'super rookie' ILLIT to 'performance queen' BoA celebrating her 25th anniversary… WICONF transcending K-pop generations.
ILLIT, making its second appearance at WICONF this year, showcases the group's unique charming appeal. Since their debut in March of last year, with the title track 'Magnetic' gaining significant popularity, ILLIT has earned the title of 'super rookie,' and they are sweetly captivating global music fans with their recently released 'Almond Chocolate.'
The artist chosen as this year's performer on the WICONF tribute stage, which highlights the legacy of K-pop, is BoA. Renowned for countless hits like 'No. 1,' 'Atlantis Princess,' 'Only One,' and 'Valenti,' BoA celebrates her 25th anniversary this year. Continuing her vigorous activities, BoA held an Asia tour in Taiwan and Singapore last year. With a stage by 'performance queen' BoA, there are high expectations for tribute performances by junior artists who will showcase their unique styles.
The introduction of nighttime performances at Weverse Park and the expansion of ticket types to four… extending audience choices.
With the final lineup also the timetable for the two-day performances has been announced. Notably, this year's Weverse Park performances will be held separately as daytime and nighttime events. In the newly established nighttime performance, the artists selected as 'WICONF CHOICE,' Im Jin and NELL, will debut as opening artists on each day, creating a unique atmosphere for WICONF.
Pre-sales for the Weverse official membership tickets will open on the 24th, with general sales beginning on the 25th. With the introduction of nighttime performances at Weverse Park this year, the types of tickets have been expanded to four: △1 DAY PASS (Weverse Park daytime performance + Weverse Con), △GREEN PASS (Weverse Park daytime performance + Weverse Park nighttime performance), △CON TICKET (Weverse Con), and △NIGHT TICKET (Weverse Park nighttime performance), increasing the selection options.
Membership pre-sales will allow selection between 1 DAY PASS and GREEN PASS, while general sales will be available for all types. For detailed information regarding ticket purchasing and offline performances, please check the Weverse Zone community within Weverse and the Weverse Con Festival homepage.
HYBE noted, "This year's participating artists at WICONF number 27, the largest ever. Artists from genres not previously involved, such as musicals, will join, presenting a richer stage than last year." They expressed, "As a music festival that breaks down generational and genre boundaries, we aim to provide unforgettable experiences for global fans."
