'Hospital Playlist' has given birth to the band Mido and Parasol, which will make a comeback with an OST.
According to Studio Maum C, the OST for the tvN weekend drama 'Resident Playbook' (creators Shin Won-ho and Lee Woo-jung; directed by Lee Min-soo; written by Kim Song-hee; planned by CJ ENM Studios; produced by Egg Is Coming), sung by Mido and Parasol, will be released on the 20th at 6 p.m. through various music sites.
Mido and Parasol is the band formed by actors Jo Jung-suk, Yoo Yeon-seok, Jung Kyung-ho, Kim Dae-myung, and Jeon Mi-do who appeared in 'Hospital Playlist' seasons 1 and 2. After about four years, they will present a new song under the name Mido and Parasol. Since 'Resident Playbook' is a spin-off of 'Hospital Playlist,' they reportedly participated in this OST project as a show of support and encouragement.
Previously, Mido and Parasol enhanced the drama's emotional impact and enjoyment through well-chosen songs and perfect harmony, performing tracks like 'One Day,' 'You've Fallen for Me,' 'Let's Forget Now,' and 'The Night Is Deep.' Furthermore, 'Aloha,' 'I Knew I Would Love You,' and 'To You, I'm Here, and To Me, You're There' dominated the country's major music charts, showcasing immense popularity just like the drama. Anticipation is growing for the new OST Mido and Parasol will deliver, having presented numerous hits amid their warm chemistry.
In particular, as Studio Maum C has participated in the production of the 'Resident Playbook' OST following 'Hospital Playlist' seasons 1 and 2, it raises expectations for the birth of a well-made track that will further reinforce its title as 'the home of OSTs.' Top K-pop artists including Stray Kids' Seungmin, Lee Know, and I.N, Ahn Yu-jin (IVE), Doh Kyung-soo (D.O.), Winter, Minnie ((G)I-DLE), Tomorrow X Together, and DK (SEVENTEEN) are expected to collaborate and offer unique emotions and resonances each week.
Meanwhile, the OST for 'Resident Playbook,' in which Mido and Parasol participated, will be available for listening on the 20th at 6 p.m. through various music sites.
