The members of the group New Jeans' appeal against the court's ruling to prohibit independent activities was not accepted.

On the 16th, the Seoul Central District Court's Civil Division 50 (Chief Judge Kim Sang-hoon) rejected the request for provisional injunction filed by the five members of New Jeans.

Previously, on the 21st of last month, the Seoul Central District Court's Civil Division 50 (Chief Judge Kim Sang-hoon) accepted ADOR's request for a provisional injunction against the five members of New Jeans for 'prohibition of preservation of agency status and advertising contract conclusion,' ruling in favor.

According to the court's judgment, independent entertainment activities without ADOR's prior approval or consent, whether by themselves (including legal representatives) or through third parties, are prohibited, making it difficult for the members to use the new name 'NJZ' as well as to carry out independent activities.

Afterwards, the New Jeans members submitted an appeal against the court's ruling and declared a halt to their activities.

The hearing for the appeal held on the 9th was conducted privately for about 15 minutes with only the representatives of both parties present, and the court did not accept the members' appeal.
