NCT WISH successfully held an offline event to commemorate the release of their second mini-album "poppop."
On the 15th, NCT WISH held a special offline event "poppop in the bubble" at the Incheon Songdo Moonlight Festival Park auxiliary stadium with three sessions at 12 p.m., 2 p.m., and 4 p.m., spending a special time celebrating the release of their second mini-album with fans.
In particular, NCT WISH unveiled the stage for the title track "poppop," featuring a bouncy melody and energetic performance for the first time, while also presenting the confession song "1000," which impresses with lyrics about folding 1,000 paper cranes, drawing enthusiastic responses from the audience.
Additionally, under the concept of "a wish jelly shop open for just one day," a talk corner compared each track to jelly flavors, making the charm of the songs even more interesting. They also held a fan participation segment that brought the confession operation story from the music video to life, capturing the attention of fans (known as "Cizeni") as the members showcased their colorful and cheerful charms amid active coaching from fans.
Furthermore, a bubble dome measuring 25 meters wide, 20 meters long, and 8 meters high installed at the venue drew attention as a space that visually embodied the lively and cheerful atmosphere of the album. Entering the bubble dome offered an immersive experience, making it feel as though they were stepping into NCT WISH's album, receiving positive feedback.
As the performance concluded, NCT WISH expressed, "Now the activities for 'poppop' are about to start, and I am really looking forward to it. Since this album was prepared with great effort, we ask for a lot of love, and I hope Cizeni enjoy both the song and dance, which are both cute and exciting. We will run hard during this activity and make it the most fun ever."
Meanwhile, NCT WISH made a comeback on April 14 with their second mini-album "poppop," exceeding 1.21 million pre-orders, dominating the domestic album chart at number one, ranking second on the Melon HOT100 within 30 days of release, reaching number one on Japan's YouTube trending videos and second in Korea, attaining number one on Japan's AWA real-time rising chart, and ranking third on China's QQ Music rising chart and trend peak chart, along with seventh on the new song chart, embarking on a path of popularity.
