Actress Go Youn-jung is growing.

On the 13th, during the broadcast of tvN's weekend drama 'Resident Playbook' (hereafter 'RePlay') episode 2, Go Youn-jung took on the role of Oh Yi-young, a first-year obstetrics and gynecology resident, showcasing the charm of a 'dependable character' who appears calm on the outside but is warmer than anyone on the inside.

In this episode, Oh Yi-young attempted to leave the hospital due to bullying from Fellow Myung Eun-won (played by Kim Hye-in), but she displayed her responsible side by calmly managing the crisis when she ran to the obstetrics and gynecology code blue situation first. The true value of Oh Yi-young, who conveys sincerity through actions rather than words, gradually shone.

Although Professor Seo Jung-min (played by Lee Gyu-hyung) scolded her for appearing unbothered given that she is a first-year resident, after seeing Oh Yi-young's patient responses, he began to view her differently and ultimately recognized her as a 'favorite student,' increasing expectations for her future growth.

Moreover, despite her cold exterior, Oh Yi-young revealed a warmer heart when dealing with mothers, showcasing her 'cold outside, warm inside' charm, which brought poignant emotion. Watching Oh Yi-young, who could not leave the hospital out of concern for the mothers, Chu Min-ha (played by Ahn Eun-jin) acknowledged her qualities as a doctor and was depicted making a special request to Gu Do-won.

Go Youn-jung added depth to her character by expressing subtle emotional nuances from her empty expressions in front of Myung Eun-won's bullying, her anger when reaching the limits of patience, to her cold judgments in urgent situations. Particularly, she expressed her growing fondness for Gu Do-won (played by Jung Jun-won) clearly and excitedly, heightening expectations for the romantic chemistry between the two.

Meanwhile, the 'Resident Playbook,' filled with Go Youn-jung's diverse charms and growth, airs every Saturday and Sunday at 9:20 p.m.
