"On Eun-young Report: Marriage Hell" Dr. On Eun-young analyzed that the children are hiding their sadness.

On the broadcast of MBC's "On Eun-young Report: Marriage Hell" on the 14th, the second story of the 'six couples' was revealed, following last week's episode.

The 'six couples' family lost their third son at the age of 3 due to moyamoya disease and shared the heartbreaking story of a husband personally caring for his wife, who collapsed and was diagnosed as a person in a vegetative state due to the same disease.

Relatively, the eldest son talks face-to-face with his father about his mother, but the second son keeps his distance from her. The youngest also does not open up to his father, leading him to express his worries about not knowing his children's feelings.

At that moment, the eldest son appeared in the studio. He explained the meaning of "I can't face reality even for a moment," saying, "After mom collapsed, it was difficult for me to go through middle school. I couldn't make friends and fell into gaming for a while; I felt powerless."

The eldest also expressed that it feels like people around him are whispering, saying, "I worry that it's different from how others mourn, so it might seem different from typical families." The father shared that he had the same concerns.

Dr. On Eun-young advised, "Some of that is true. When you go to a memorial hall, everyone will look. Because there are multiple children. When the children enter with their father, most will think, 'The kids are young, and their mother is not here.' This is not about gossiping; it is about showing genuine interest with a good heart."

Most importantly, Dr. On Eun-young discovered that the eldest, second, and third children are hiding their sadness. Regarding this, she noted, "From the children's perspective, they see their father as trying his best. He is such a good person. The father has no personal life and is all in for the mother. The most pitiful person in this world is the mother. The children may hesitate to express difficult feelings. Their reluctance to complain of hardship might come from thinking, 'Is my love for my father lacking? Has my love for my mother waned?'"

Dr. On Eun-young lamented, "Even during meals, the scene is beautiful but sad. They tried to include their sick mother. Can the kids complain about the side dishes in front of their sick mother? They are trying to hide their sadness and show a good image. I wonder how hard it is to express the sadness that resides in their hearts this way while hiding it."
