Singer Park Ki-young grants in the play "White Rabbit Red Rabbit."

"White Rabbit Red Rabbit" will be performed at the Sejong Center for the Performing Arts S Theater from April 30 to May 25.

"White Rabbit Red Rabbit" is a work created by Iranian author Nassim Soleimanpour to escape censorship in his home country. This script was delivered to stages worldwide, serving as a voice for the author during the time he could not leave the country. It has been translated into more than 20 languages and performed in over 25 countries, featuring global actors like Kenneth Branagh, Uzo Aduba, Nate Searan, and Sinéad Cusack.

In 2023, the performance at the latest venue in London's West End, "sohoplace," received overwhelming praise from the British press and critics. Described as "an experience that strikes the brains of both the audience and actors" and "a work that proves how alive art can be," it was selected by prominent media outlets like BBC, The Guardian, and Time Out as a "must-see experimental play." Now, it is time for Korean audiences to have a great experience in this same atmosphere.

This play creates a stage that exists only once. Each day, a different actor stands on stage, leading the story with a single reading. This unpredictable experimental format allows the audience to "experience" the play.

For this Korean performance, 33 actors will participate. Aside from Park Ki-young, they include Park Jeong-ja, Park Sang-won, Nam Myung-ryeol, Song Ok-sook, Kim Kyung-il, Lee Geon-myeong, Lee Seok-jun, Park Ho-san, Oh Yong, Hong Kyung-min, Ha Do-gwon, Park Ki-young, Ji Hyun-joon, Kim Dong-wan, Kim Da-hyun, Choi Young-jun, Lim Gang-seong, Lee Si-eon, Park Hye-na, Lee El, Kim Jae-wook, Kim Chan-ho, Jung Dong-hwa, Joo Min-jin, Choi Yeon-woo, Han Ji-eun, Park Jeong-won, Song Yu-taek, Kang Hyeong-seok, Win Taemin, Choi Jeong-woo, Moon Yu-gang, Kim Do-yeon, and others. The actor who stands on stage that day leads the audience with a single opportunity. With their lives and colors, they breathe life into the script. This stage is real "live."
