Shin Won-ho, the creator, did not hold back his high praise for actress Go Youn-jung.
On the afternoon of the 15th, at a location in Jung-gu, Seoul, a director's talk for tvN's 'Sooner or Later, Hospital Playlist' took place, where Shin Won-ho noted regarding the casting, "I worked closely with the director and writer. Their opinions carried more weight. I take pride in my audition being an efficient and effective way to select good actors. So we looked at it together and set the direction."
Regarding the main character, Go Youn-jung as Oh Yi-young, he said, "The production team's interest was high, so we met together. There may be a stereotype that actors who look like that would act a certain way. I thought such a beautiful actor would have a corresponding attitude, but this was the first time I saw such a down-to-earth actress. She said she has a voice like a fifth-grade boy. I believe that when the character of Oh Yi-young is added, it will be attractive."
In particular, Shin Won-ho praised Go Youn-jung, stating, "Without any disagreement, we chose Go Youn-jung. Her strengths are enormous. She has many innate qualities, not just her appearance. The best thing about her is her expressionlessness. It is difficult for an actor to achieve a zero expression. She has emotional amplitude, is diligent, and puts in a lot of effort. She has a lot and still has the potential to grow as an actress," raising fans' expectations.
The show 'Sooner or Later, Hospital Playlist,' which first aired on the 12th, depicts the process of residents dreaming of becoming seung-gi (wise) doctors as they grow after experiencing their initial fandom phase. It is a spin-off drama of 'Hospital Playlist.'
