Stray Kids' second Japanese single has received Gold Disc Platinum certification from the local record association.
According to an announcement made by the Japan Record Association on the official website on 10th, Stray Kids' second Japanese single 'Scars / 소리꾼 -Japanese ver.' (Scars / Sorikkun Japanese version), released in October 2021, has achieved a cumulative shipment of 250,000 copies as of March 2025, earning the Gold Disc Platinum certification given to albums that reach 250,000 copies. They previously added another record after their second Japanese studio album 'GIANT' (자이언트), released in November 2024, surpassed 500,000 cumulative shipments and received double Platinum certification last December.
The long-running popular Japanese single 'Scars / 소리꾼 -Japanese ver.' recorded a top four lineup on the daily sales chart of Tower Records, the largest record store in the region, upon its release. The double title track 'Scars' reached number one on overseas iTunes song charts in 32 regions and also topped the iTunes USA K-pop chart, while claiming the top spot on the Japan Line Music Weekly Song Top 100 chart.
The new song 'ReawakeR (feat. Felix of Stray Kids)' (리어웨이커 (피처링 스트레이 키즈 필릭스)) by the famous Japanese artist LiSA, featuring Felix, has continued to perform well since its official release in March. It has held the number one spot on the 'Global Japan Songs excluding Japan' chart based on Japanese music in over 200 regions on Billboard Japan for six consecutive weeks from March 6 to April 10. In the region-specific 'Japan Songs' chart, it achieved number one in a total of seven regions, including Germany, the UK, and Malaysia, as of April 10, with the German chart maintaining its number one position for nine weeks, the longest among those regions. Additionally, the track topped the 'World Digital Song Sales Chart' on the U.S. Billboard chart as of March 8, captivating fans worldwide.
Continuing the momentum, from May 10-11 and May 17-18, they will hold a solo concert as part of the world tour 'Stray Kids World Tour dominATE' at the Shizuoka Stadium Ecopa, a large outdoor comprehensive stadium in Shizuoka. Last November and December, through this tour, they drew approximately 315,000 spectators across six shows at the Tokyo Dome and Kyocera Dome Osaka, recreating the excitement in Shizuoka and showcasing the strength of 'global top artists'.
Meanwhile, Stray Kids, who recently concluded the Latin America performances as part of the world tour 'dominATE' in Mexico City on 12th-13th (local time), will hold solo concerts in huge stadiums across Japan, North America, and Europe. This world tour, the largest in their history with 55 shows in 34 regions, is expected to attract a total of 2.2 million spectators, setting a new record for the most attendees in a single tour in K-pop history.
