Go Youn-jung gets properly caught by villain fellow Kim Hye-in's skill of returning the favor.

In the second episode of tvN's weekend drama 'Resident Playbook' (creator Shin Won-ho, Lee Woo-jung / director Lee Min-soo / screenplay Kim Song-hee / planning CJ ENM Studios / produced by Egg is Coming), airing today (13th), the struggle of first-year residents Oh Yi-young (played by Go Youn-jung), Pyo Nam-gyeong (played by Shin Si A), Eom Jae-il (played by Kang Yoo-seok), and Kim Sa-bi (played by Han Ye-ji) against the notorious fellow Myung Eun-won (played by Kim Hye-in) unfolds in a hell of phone calls.

First-year residents Oh Yi-young, Pyo Nam-gyeong, Eom Jae-il, and Kim Sa-bi at Jongno Yulje Hospital's obstetrics and gynecology department are making all sorts of mistakes since the early days of their tenure, undergoing a challenging initiation. Their clumsy but earnest attempts to learn, from their attitudes towards patients to their responses to unexpected situations, evoke the relatable experiences of newcomers to society that everyone has faced at least once.

As the residents grow through various processes, their future is awaited with anticipation. At the end of the first episode, an unexpected character appeared, surprising everyone: Myung Eun-won, a resident reminiscent of a bear and a fox, who contrasted sharply with Chu Min-ha (played by Ahn Eun-jin) from the 'Hospital Playlist' series, appears as a fellow at Jongno Yulje Hospital. In particular, Myung Eun-won's strange expression while mulling over Oh Yi-young's name creates a foreboding sense of tension.

Among the released photos, the anxious expressions of the first-year residents struggling with Myung Eun-won's skill of returning the favor hint at their challenging work life. With each resident focused intently on their phones while sprawled over their charts, their gazes filled with earnestness raise the question of whether they will make it through the day safely.

Of them, Oh Yi-young, who first made an impression in the operating room, gazes blankly at her phone, heightening her anxiety. Attention is focused on how Oh Yi-young, who speaks her mind without regard to her opponent, will react to the annoying fellow Myung Eun-won.

As newcomers to society are on the brink of losing their minds due to an endless workload, their adjustment period continues in the second episode of tvN's weekend drama 'Resident Playbook,' airing today (13th) at 9:20 p.m.
