Comedian Kim Mi-ryeo recalled the time she gave birth to her second son, who suffers from congenital collagen deficiency.
On a broadcast of MBC's "Mom, Please" on the 13th, comedian Kim Mi-ryeo and her mother Jang Sam-ran appeared as guests and shared their stories.
Kim Mi-ryeo mentioned her second son, who has a rare disease, saying, "When my son was first born, I was in the hospital. I didn’t like hearing the cries of other children when I entered the postpartum care center."
She recalled, "The little child was hooked up to all sorts of tubes, and what kind of postpartum care could I have? I kept going back and forth to the hospital without taking care of myself. Still, thanks to that, he grew a lot."
Hearing this, Song Eun-yi asked, "What kind of person is Kim Mi-ryeo as a mother?" Kim Mi-ryeo replied, "After giving birth to a child, I could see how a mother is. Even if I had been a full-time housewife, I wouldn’t have been able to do this. How did my mother raise us like this? She truly is like a great person."
Meanwhile, Kim Mi-ryeo married actor Jeong Seong-yun in 2013 and has one son and one daughter.
