Television personality Hyun-young criticized singer Kim Heung-kuk, who is publicly supporting former President Yoon Suk-yeol, saying not to get involved in politics.

On the 12th, a video titled 'Return to the screen after 12 years! First public appearance of husband at Hyun-young's screening?!' was uploaded to Hyun-young's YouTube channel. In the video, she attended the VIP screening of 'One Day Another Day,' her first screen comeback in 14 years, and met with stars and the audience.

Among them, Kim Heung-kuk stood out. Hyun-young greeted him saying, "It's Heung-kuk oppa" and asked how he was doing. In response, Kim Heung-kuk mumbled, "I always get involved in politics." To this, Hyun-young pointed out, "Are you getting involved in politics, oppa? Don't do that. Getting involved in politics doesn't suit you. Do 'Tiger Butterfly' instead," which drew laughter.

Kim Heung-kuk is one of the entertainers who has openly supported the People Power Party. Last December, during the impeachment crisis, he clashed with netizens, responding with comments like "Only Yongsan would know" and "You do your own thing."

In January, Kim Heung-kuk took the stage at a rally held in front of President Yoon Suk-yeol's residence in Yongsan, Seoul, stating, "I am being attacked. They are calling me 'Tiger Butterfly' and some crazy person is calling me 'Rebellion Butterfly.' I also have children, and they stopped me saying, 'Dad, please don't go to Gwanghwamun or Hannam-dong.' I guess they are worried I might go to jail. Seems like they are scared."

He continued, "Presidents Lee Seung-man, Park Chung-hee, and Chun Doo-hwan did well, but President Yoon Suk-yeol is doing the best," and urged, "Please, from today, those on the opposing side, don't ever do things like 'Coup Butterfly' or 'Rebellion Butterfly.' Those people cannot have a dialogue. If South Korea is struggling, regardless of political party or side, we need to unite."

In particular, Kim Heung-kuk remarked, "I have no broadcasts these days. For two and a half years, I've followed President Yoon, yet the media doesn't use me. Is this media? The people want to see me so much," while also saying, "I truly respect and love you, patriotic citizens. We must withstand this. We will overcome this. You will certainly be victorious. Heaven will help us," as he briefly sang 'Tiger Butterfly,' earning cheers.

However, contrary to Kim Heung-kuk's wishes, the judgment of the law was harsh. On the 4th at 11 a.m., the Constitutional Court held a session on the impeachment of President Yoon Suk-yeol in the Supreme Court chamber in Jongno-gu, Seoul, and unanimously decided to remove him from office. The effect of the removal was immediate, and President Yoon lost his position, returning to his residence in Seocho-dong.

Amidst this, Hyun-young has attracted attention by directly advising Kim Heung-kuk, saying, "Don't get involved in politics."
