The singer Wooz's side has stated its position on the late Kim Sae-ron's dating rumors.

On the 12th, EDAM Entertainment noted regarding the dating rumors between Wooz and the late Kim Sae-ron, "We ask for your understanding as it is difficult to confirm details about their private lives."

Previously, a YouTuber claimed that the late Kim Sae-ron had been in a relationship with singer A from early 2021 to May 2022. The late Kim Sae-ron sent a coffee truck anonymously to A's music video filming site and also liked a post that appeared on social media. Additionally, it has been reported that she did not hide the fact of her relationship with A.

The late Kim Sae-ron struggled after breaking up with A, and as a result, she caused a drunk-driving accident on May 18, 2022. It is said that she canceled the dubbing for Netflix's "Hunting Dogs" the day before and that she began drinking from the early morning the next day before driving under the influence and crashing into a transformer.

Netizens speculated that A is the singer Wooz. Wooz enlisted last January and is set to be discharged on July 21. The agency has been reticent regarding the dating rumors between Wooz and the late Kim Sae-ron, stating, "It is difficult to confirm as it is a private matter."

Meanwhile, the late Kim Sae-ron was found dead at her home in Seongdong-gu, Seoul, on Feb. 16. Family members claimed that she had been in a relationship with Kim Soo-hyun for six years, starting when she was a minor in 2015, and released text messages and letters exchanged between the two through the YouTube channel "Garosero Research Institute."

In response, Kim Soo-hyun refuted, saying, "We did not date when she was a minor. It is also not true that the tragic choice was made due to my neglect or because our agency pressured her over her debt." He also filed a lawsuit for damages amounting to 12 billion won against the late Kim Sae-ron's family and the operators of the "Garosero Research Institute."
