'The Seasons - Park Bo-gum's Cantabile' Yoon Jong-shin and Daesung praised Park Bo-gum for his appearance, singing ability, and character.
On the 11th, the KBS 2TV music talk show 'The Seasons - Park Bo-gum's Cantabile' featured Yoon Jong-shin, Daesung, the group NouerA, the house band Jungmae, and Kungchitachi.
On this day, Yoon Jong-shin said, “I’ve heard a lot about Bo-gum. They say he is such a nice person. So I thought, ‘how nice could he be?’ but when I came and saw, he was indeed very nice. I have never seen anyone speak ill of Park Bo-gum. I came feeling excited after hearing so much praise, but I leave with even better energy,” he shared about his first appearance. In response, Park Bo-gum said, “I am even more honored.”
Next was Daesung, who showcased an exciting performance with 'Look at Me, Return.' He said, 'I haven’t been active in music in Korea for a long time, so this good opportunity came up this time because Bo-gum is here.'
Park Bo-gum mentioned, “It’s interesting that you said it’s your first appearance on ‘The Seasons.’ This is our second meeting in this space after a full decade.” The two met as an MC and a singer on 'Music Bank' 10 years ago.
At that time, Big Bang was nominated for first place with the song 'Loser' and received an award. Daesung noted, 'That was when I was a loser,' while Park Bo-gum corrected him, saying, 'We received an award back then.' To this, Daesung explained, 'Award-winning loser. It’s a high-level loser among losers,' and Park Bo-gum added, 'That sounds a bit off,' which brought laughter.
On another note, Daesung recalled that he was 19 to 20 years old when 'Look at Me, Return' was released, adding, 'I’ve turned 36 since then. I’m still looking for Return.' Park Bo-gum mentioned, 'The lyrics and composition are by G-Dragon, and the chorus is by Go-mi,' to which Daesung responded, 'That's right. It's a thing that shouldn't exist.'
Park Bo-gum asked, 'I keep listening, but is it difficult to catch Go-mi’s voice? Did she stack the harmonies all on her own?' Daesung replied, 'All those eerie vocals are from Go-mi.'
Then Park Bo-gum confessed that he previously sang Daesung’s 'Look at Me, Return' at a fan meeting in Japan. At that moment, a video of Park Bo-gum's fan meeting was revealed on the screen, making him flustered. Daesung remarked, 'Seeing this, I realize I made a mistake. The chorus should have been sung by Park Bo-gum instead of Go-mi,' and praised him.
Continuing, when Park Bo-gum said, 'It's too much flattery,' Daesung responded, 'It’s an abundance. Park Bo-gum is a feast for the eyes. I’m amazed every time I see him. How did such a person come into being? Personally, I envy your parents. I'm very envious,' he continued to praise.
Furthermore, when Park Bo-gum said, 'If I remember correctly, ten years ago, since it was a live broadcast, I couldn’t present the trophy to the seniors and ask them for their acceptance speeches one by one. That didn’t sit well with me,' Daesung replied, 'You’re so virtuous. Really,' praising Park Bo-gum once again.
