Tae Jin-ah shared a happy update with his wife, Lee Ok-hyeong, who is battling dementia.
On the 11th, Tae Jin-ah posted on his social media, "Oh, how pretty Ok-gyeong is. I am so, so grateful for your support," along with a photo.
The released photo captures Tae Jin-ah looking lovingly at his wife, Lee Ok-hyeong. The couple's happy moment brings a warm smile to viewers.
Tae Jin-ah married his wife, Ok-gyeong, in 1981 and has two sons, including singer Lee Ru.
In particular, Tae Jin-ah noted last year on MBN's "One More Check Time" that his wife had been diagnosed with dementia for five years, which drew sadness.
At that time, Tae Jin-ah recalled, "(It was strange) so I made a reservation at the hospital and went, and I was told it was the early stages of dementia. At first, I couldn’t believe it. 'No way, that can't be true,' I thought. The doctor told me to accept it."
Then, in November of the following year, Tae Jin-ah appeared on "Morning Yard" and revealed, "The dementia symptoms have stopped. The disease has not progressed any further and is in a state of a standstill, so I am very grateful."
Tae Jin-ah shared, "After returning from a local event, I asked my wife, 'Did you miss me?' and she made a funny face and joked. When I asked again, 'Why wouldn’t I miss you?' she said, 'Of course I missed you a lot.' I was surprised that we could have a conversation."
