HAEIN's father, a member of the group NewJeans, is reported to have opposed the lawsuit against ADOR regarding the exclusive contract.

Previously, NewJeans claimed that the trust had been destroyed due to ADOR's violation of obligations and sought termination of the exclusive contract last November.

After that, the members of NewJeans have pushed for independent activities, even adopting a new activity name 'NJZ', but a provisional injunction regarding the preservation of ADOR's position filed on the 21st of last month was accepted by the court, halting their independent activities.

Based on the court's ruling that entertainment activities without ADOR's prior approval or consent, either by themselves (including legal representatives) or through third parties, are prohibited, the members cannot use the name 'NJZ'. The members eventually announced a halt to their activities and filed an objection against the court's ruling.

Additionally, on the 3rd, a lawsuit confirming the validity of the exclusive contract filed by ADOR against the five members of NewJeans also began, during which it was revealed that one of the parents of a minor member opposed the dispute, drawing attention.

At that time, the court asked the representative of NewJeans whether the lawsuit action was confirmed by the family court's decision on the exercise of parental rights regarding 'Defendant 4'. In response, one of the parents of minor members HAEUN and HAEIN reportedly expressed differences of opinion, leading to legal proceedings over the exercise of parental rights, stirring controversy.

In relation to this, the parents of NewJeans posted a lengthy message on SNS on the 4th, stating, "The claim that 'division has arisen among the members' parents is entirely false."

They also stated, "The rumors regarding member HAEUN are completely false. Both HAEUN and her parents are in full agreement, and all speculations regarding other family matters are also not true," and requested, "As we proceed with the adjustment of parental rights to respect the wishes of the minor child, we ask that you refrain from speculating on these family matters, as this family is firm in their stance regarding their child and mother. We affirm that all families respect and support their respective children."

They continued, "The issue of parental rights is a personal family matter. We hope that there will be no malicious use of this issue in relation to the 'legal dispute with ADOR' in the future."

Following the explanation from the parents of NewJeans, it was revealed that the member showing differences of opinion among the parents was not HAEUN but HAEIN. Subsequently, it came to light that the person opposing the lawsuit was HAEIN's father based on the court's decision.

Recently, according to the legal community, HAEIN's mother filed a lawsuit with the Seoul Family Court requesting the restriction of her father's parental rights in relation to this lawsuit.

The court stated, "It is reasonable to allow the petitioner to exercise parental rights solely," and favored HAEIN's mother.

Meanwhile, the second hearing for the main lawsuit between ADOR and NewJeans will be held on June 5 at 11:10 a.m.
