BTS member Jimin has added another music video with over 100 million views.
The YouTube views for Jimin's solo second album title track "Who" surpassed 100 million at around 4:08 p.m. on the 11th. With this, Jimin now has his third music video with 100 million views, following the pre-release song "Set Me Free Pt.2" and the title track "Like Crazy" from his first solo album "FACE."
Released on July 19, 2024, "Who" debuted at No. 14 on the Billboard Hot 100, staying on the chart for a total of 33 weeks. This is a record for the longest chart duration in K-pop history for both groups and solo artists. Jimin achieved the longest entry record on the Hot 100 for a solo song, following BTS's "Dynamite" (32 weeks). It remained on the UK Official Singles Chart for a total of 28 weeks, setting a record for the longest chart duration for a Korean solo artist since the chart's revision in 2014. Additionally, "Who" received a gold certification in the streaming category from the Recording Industry Association of Japan on March 28, highlighting its sustained global popularity.
"Who" is a song that expresses the longing for someone never met and conveys a bittersweet situation and tumultuous emotions. The contrast between its sexy and bold beat and rhythm and its romantic lyrics, which express a desire to find true love, is a highlight.
The music video captures Jimin's journey in search of true love. Jimin expresses scenes of wandering the streets alone and passing through crowds as a performance. The camera movements that accentuate his performance add visual appeal to the music video. Furthermore, various spots in the video feature LED signs using the titles of album tracks, drawing attention, while flyers stating "1995s TOP love song" and scenes reminiscent of camcorder footage enhance the vintage atmosphere.
Meanwhile, Jimin won the "K-POP SONG OF THE YEAR" award at the 2025 iHeartRadio Music Awards with "Who."
