The outdoor music festival "Have A Nice Day" has been canceled due to a strong wind forecast just one day before its scheduled date.
The organizers of "Have A Nice Day" noted on April 11 via their official social media, "The Have A Nice Day #11 scheduled for April 12-13 at Incheon SangSang Platform has been inevitably canceled due to sudden strong wind forecasts."
The organizers explained, "According to the Korea Meteorological Administration forecast announced at 6 a.m. today (April 11), it does not deviate from the previously notified rain clause; however, separate from that, strong winds equivalent to a small typhoon have been forecast for the entire metropolitan area, including Incheon, throughout the weekend," adding, "Especially since SangSang Platform is situated near the sea, it tends to be breezier than other areas, so safety is of utmost importance for outdoor events, and there is significant concern about unexpected situations, including falling objects."
They further added, "The relevant departments in the jurisdiction that need to be coordinated have also expressed great concern about the strong wind forecast," and noted, "After comprehensive consideration of the situation, it is regrettable, but we urgently decided to cancel Have A Nice Day #11." They also mentioned, "Considering the support from the audience and artists who have been waiting a long time, we discussed the possibility of moving indoors and postponing the schedule; however, due to the sudden nature of this forecast happening so close to the event date, relocating indoors is not feasible with administrative approval and the preparation time, and coordinating the schedules of 24 artists is also realistically difficult, which is why we ask for your understanding regarding the decision to cancel."
Meanwhile, "Have A Nice Day" is characterized by a lineup centered on popular artists and presents various events with a travel theme, staging the venue with an airport concept. This year's performance was scheduled to feature Roy Kim, Paul Kim, MeloMance, N.Flying, Ha Dong-kyun, Ha Hyun-sung, So-Ran, 10CM, Hong Isaac, Jeong Se-woon, and others.
