G-Dragon (Kwon Ji-yong) unveiled the music video 'Home Sweet Home' based on Azure OpenAI Sora, created in collaboration with the AI corporations Galaxy Corporation and Microsoft (MS).
On the 9th, G-Dragon unveiled the AI MV for the first time on the special stage at the ‘Innovate Korea 2025’ event held at KAIST in Daejeon, and successfully concluded the space sound source transmission project, continuing to set records as the 'first' in the entertainment technology field.
The 'Home Sweet Home' music video depicts a journey to find each one's 'HOME,' set against a backdrop of dystopia, future cities, and an unknown universe, conveying a message about the future through elements symbolizing hope, such as LED flowers, planting flowers on planets, and a daisy painting. In particular, the Azure OpenAI Sora logo inserted in the lower right corner of the video clearly shows the utilization of AI technology, and G-Dragon personally participated in the curating, adding to its significance.
G-Dragon noted, "We are no longer in an era where everything is created alone; it is a time to imagine and collaborate with AI for creation," emphasizing the changing role of artists actively utilizing AI technology as a creative tool.
This MV was co-produced through the AI solution 'Sora,' developed based on Microsoft Azure OpenAI services from Galaxy Corporation. Satya Nadella, CEO of MS, praised Choi Yong-ho, Chief Happiness Officer of Galaxy Corporation, as a "pioneer of imagination," stating that G-Dragon's K-pop video production is "truly fantastic, an innovative attempt that will completely change the paradigm of the entertainment industry."
