Can Park Hyung-Sik and Hong Hwa-Yeon achieve love in 'Buried Hearts'?

SBS's Friday-Saturday drama 'Buried Hearts' (written by Lee Myung-Hee, directed by Jin Chang-Kyu, produced by Studio S, A2Z Entertainment, and Purumir Workshop) has only two episodes left until its conclusion. It is expected that Seo Dong-Joo (played by Park Hyung-Sik), after learning the shocking secret of his birth and shortly witnessing the death of his biological father (親父) Heo Il-Do (played by Lee Hae-Young), will take final revenge on the absolute evil Jeolbeomak (played by Heo Jun-Ho), the mastermind behind all these events.

Among the points that viewers of 'Buried Hearts' are curious about, as much as Seo Dong-Joo's revenge, is the love between Seo Dong-Joo and Yeo Eun-Nam (played by Hong Hwa-Yeon). Although they love each other deeply, the two have faced continuous breakup crises. Viewers were particularly saddened by the shocking situation that Seo Dong-Joo and Yeo Eun-Nam could potentially be half-siblings.

Meanwhile, on the 10th, the production team of 'Buried Hearts' drew attention by revealing Seo Dong-Joo and Yeo Eun-Nam, who can no longer be simply happy together.

The released photo captures a scene from episode 15 of 'Buried Hearts.' In the picture, Seo Dong-Joo and Yeo Eun-Nam are sitting across from each other and having a conversation. The sorrowful look in their eyes makes the viewer’s heart ache. Yeo Eun-Nam is seen carefully embracing Seo Dong-Joo. Perhaps it is because they have relentlessly pursued revenge until now. Seo Dong-Joo's gaze appears to waver with emptiness and sadness at Yeo Eun-Nam's comforting gesture.

The fact that Seo Dong-Joo is the son of Heo Il-Do is also believed to be a reason why they cannot be simply happy together. Yeo Eun-Nam believes that Heo Il-Do killed her biological father (親父) and vowed revenge. This was also why Yeo Eun-Nam chose a political marriage over leaving the man she loves, Seo Dong-Joo. Additionally, it was revealed that Heo Il-Do indeed killed Yeo Eun-Nam's biological father. For this reason, Seo Dong-Joo cannot approach Yeo Eun-Nam without hesitation.

In relation to this, the production team of 'Buried Hearts' noted, "In episodes 15 and 16 airing this week, the conclusion of Seo Dong-Joo and Yeo Eun-Nam's love will also be revealed. Park Hyung-Sik and Hong Hwa-Yeon will delicately portray the emotional lines they have accumulated over time, enhancing immersion. We hope you will watch to see if they can break free from the tangled fate of their parents' generation and fulfill their love."

As SBS's Friday-Saturday drama 'Buried Hearts' races toward its climax, episode 15 will air on the 11th at 9:50 p.m., and episode 16 will air on the 12th, Saturday, at 9:45 p.m.
