Actor Lee Jung-sik shared his thoughts on the conclusion of 'Hyper Knife.'
The Disney+ original series 'Hyper Knife' (Director: Kim Jung-hyun / Writer: Kim Sun-hee / Provided by: Walt Disney Company Korea / Produced by: CJ ENM Studios, Vlad Studios, Dongpung Co., Ltd.) wrapped up on the 9th, and Lee Jung-sik's thoughts on its conclusion have been released.
Lee Jung-sik played the role of 'Ha-u-young,' who is the motivation of Jeong Se-ok (Park Eun-bin) and a disciple of Choi Deok-hee (Sul KyungGu) in Disney+'s first original medical thriller 'Hyper Knife,' which portrays the intense conflict between the once-promising genius doctor 'Se-ok' and his mentor 'Deok-hee' who pushed him into the abyss.
The character Woo-young, played by Lee Jung-sik, serves as a key figure in the Boston study abroad incident that triggers the confrontation between Se-ok and Deok-hee, effectively sharing memories of the past and present between the two, highlighting his presence. Additionally, Lee Jung-sik captivated viewers with his vibrant expressions and stable acting skills, enhancing the character's dimensionality, as well as his tall stature and warm visuals.
Meanwhile, Lee Jung-sik conveyed his reflections on completing the work through his agency, Namoo Actors. He noted, "It feels like I just shot it yesterday, and now it's already over for 'Hyper Knife.' I truly enjoyed and appreciated the time spent acting alongside my seniors."
He continued, "Above all, it was amazing and really appreciated to see viewers interpreting and imagining Woo-young's narrative in various ways. Also, I want to express my gratitude to the director, writer, all the staff, and fellow actors for their hard work, and to the viewers who loved 'Hyper Knife.' I will greet you with even better works in the future."
