The drama 'Buried Hearts' continues to hold the top spot for attracting new weekend subscribers on Wavve, showing remarkable rising figures ahead of its final episode.

The SBS drama 'Buried Hearts' depicts the main character, Seo Dong-joo (Park Hyung-sik), who hacks a political slush fund of 2 trillion won, fighting with everything he has to topple the absolute evil that killed him and its world in a 'life-all-in' revenge story.

'Buried Hearts' has generated buzz even before its airing, thanks to the collaboration of screenwriter Lee Myung-hee, known for 'Money Flower', and director Jin Chang-kyu of 'Military Prosecutor Doberman'. The storytelling vividly depicts human desire characteristic of Lee Myung-hee, while Jin Chang-kyu's direction is trendy yet weighty. The dedicated performances from trusted actors such as Park Hyung-sik, Heo Jun-ho, Kim Jung-nan, Do Ji-won, Hong Soo-hyun, and Woo Hyun combined create a captivating 'well-made drama' that is loved by viewers.

Above all, 'Buried Hearts' set a new record for its highest viewership rating of 14.6% (based on Nielsen Korea) during its 14th episode while also achieving a peak weekend average viewership time on Wavve. Since its first broadcast until now, when the final episode is approaching, 'Buried Hearts' has maintained the top position for attracting new paid weekend subscribers on Wavve. The viewing time for the weekend of the first broadcast week (Feb. 21-23, 2025) has increased by about 168% compared to the weekend of the 7th week of broadcasting (April 4-6, 2025), boasting an impressive increase of 2.7 times.

As 'Buried Hearts' records a gradual increase in viewership time each week, there is keen interest in whether it can set a new record for viewership time on Wavve ahead of this week's final broadcast (April 11-12).

Moreover, there is anticipation whether the follow-up drama to 'Buried Hearts', the new SBS Friday-Saturday drama 'Haunted Palace', can carry on the legacy of 'Buried Hearts'. 'Haunted Palace' tells the story of a shaman, Yeori (Kim Ji-yeon), who rejects her fate, and her first love, Yun Gap (Yook Sung-jae), as they face a creature of fate, grappling with both body and spirit in a fantasy romantic comedy. It will be available for viewing on Wavve starting April 18.

With only 2 episodes left until the final airing, the drama 'Buried Hearts' can be watched from episodes 1 to 14 on Wavve.
