The 'Resident Playbook' team shared stories about the surprise grants by the '99z.'
On the 10th, a production presentation for the tvN drama 'Resident Playbook' was held at the Ramada Seoul Sindorim in Guro-gu, Seoul. Attendees included Go Youn-jung, Shin Si A, Kang Yu-seok, Han Ye-ji, Jung Jun-won, Shin Won-ho, and director Lee Min-soo.
The new tvN drama 'Resident Playbook' (creator Shin Won-ho, Lee Woo-jung / directed by Lee Min-soo / written by Kim Song-hee / planned by CJ ENM Studios / produced by Egg is Coming) is a spin-off drama that captures the growth process of residents dreaming of a 'brilliant medical life' through hardships.
'Resident Playbook' is set against a broader worldview, moving to Jongno Yulje Hospital instead of the main branch of Yulje Hospital in the 'Hospital Playlist' series. Notably, actors Jung Kyung-ho and Kim Dae-myung, who share the same universe, have hinted at special appearances.
In this regard, creator Shin Won-ho noted, "They readily agreed to join (the casting). There was no need to ask. Jung Kyung-ho and Kim Dae-myung even asked why they aren't appearing in every episode. I'm very grateful that they agreed so readily, even wanting to be credited as 'cast members' instead of special appearances, treating it like their own work."
He continued, "However, when they came to the set, they were quite reserved and cautious. It was only when the crew approached them that they became more friendly. They weren’t the type to provide advice or guidance."
Actor Go Youn-jung also added, "Actually, we're all quite introverted. Just watching the performances in front of us was a learning experience. There was so much to learn. Although I couldn't ask for advice, I remember observing and admiring when senior actors were filming, even wanting to stay and watch after the shoot ended."
The new tvN drama 'Resident Playbook' will premiere on the 12th (Saturday) at 9:10 p.m.
