On the 8th, Kian84 appeared in episodes 1 to 3 of the newly launched Netflix variety show 'Kian’s Bizarre B&B,' where he began operating a guesthouse he designed himself.
'Kian’s Bizarre B&B' is a unique variety show where Kian84, Jin, and Ji Ye-eun engage with guests at a guesthouse filled with Kian's romantic charm in Ulleungdo. Kian84 has opened a guesthouse with imaginative designs and started operating it, bringing fresh enjoyment.
In the first episode, Kian84 planned to build a house on the sea while visiting Ulleungdo. The guesthouse main building, drawn by Kian84 himself, stunned staff Jin and Ji Ye-eun with an unimaginable design that included a 3.8-meter rock climbing entrance, outdoor beds, a water slide, and an open shower room. The annex in the forest had to solve dining and sleeping needs without a chimney. On the first day, welcoming his first guests in the annex, Kian84 provided slippers and towels, guiding them through the facilities with a rugged yet responsible and warm demeanor.
Kian84's unique operational philosophy also brought different kinds of fun. While preparing dinner, the indoor space became filled with smoke, leading to a situation where he had to extinguish the fire in the stove, but Kian84 persevered, saying, 'We must serve the guests' and, through teamwork, managed to complete the meal despite the chaos. Regarding the challenging internal structure, he humorously commented, 'A time will come to choose between hunger and fear,' and 'Let’s make clean people feel self-conscious,' revealing his unconventional beliefs that do not compromise with reality.
Kian84's raw and human charm was also on display. In episodes 2 and 3, Kian84 moved to the main building over the sea. While moving luggage down a slide and entering a kitchen accessible only via a pole, Kian84 maintained his humor and formed cheerful chemistry with everyone. He also watched guests enjoy their experiences with satisfaction, sharing stories and providing them with unforgettable memories.
At the end of episode 3, Kian84 expressed his concerns, saying, 'It was romantic when I imagined it, but there are risks involved. I only thought of romance, but realistically, I am worried.' As rain began to fall early in the morning, he faced unexpected challenges. Curiosity grows about what choice Kian84 will make between his romantic ideals and reality as the operations unfold.
