On that day, Mun Ka-young, who started as a child actress, revealed in response to the question of how old she was when she debuted, "I was born in Germany and came to Korea at the age of 10. I started right away then," and noted that this year marks her 20th year since her debut, which surprised many.
When asked if she ever took a break, Mun Ka-young replied, "Actually, I never took a break. I ran fully without resting." The early 2000s, when Mun Ka-young was active as a child actress, is regarded as a golden era for child actors, including Park Eun-bin, Lee Se-young, and Yeojin Goo. Mun Ka-young said, "It's amazing. While filming 'Black Dragon,' I met Han Hyo-jung. We filmed together in the KBS drama 'Beyond the Mountain.' It had been 19 years since we last met. I was going to the set with my mom back then, and she remembered me, recalling that I studied in the car and filmed after my exams ended."
Mun Ka-young also mentioned that she was cast on the street in Germany. She said, "It was when there weren’t many Tongyang people. While walking, I was street-cast as a children's clothing advertisement model. I was the first child model for clothing ads. I liked being noticed since I was young. I remember that I liked the sound of the camera shutter back then."
