A complaint has currently been submitted to the Yongsan Police Station, and additional complaints will continue to be pursued." They explained that they are also responding rigorously to deepfake crimes, which have become a significant social issue. They are closely cooperating with investigative agencies regarding the production and dissemination of false videos targeting the artist, and a related suspect has been transferred to the prosecution while in custody.

Finally, ADOR conveyed, "In legal actions related to the protection of the artist's rights, we will not engage in any settlements or leniency, and we are actively considering additional measures that can be taken at the company level to ensure that the perpetrator receives appropriate punishment."

Meanwhile, on the 21st of last month, the Seoul Central District Court's Civil Settlement Division 50 (Chief Judge Kim Sang-hun) accepted ADOR's request for a provisional injunction against the five members of NewJeans regarding 'preservation of agency status and prohibition of entering into advertising contracts.'

Below is ADOR's full statement.

Hello, this is ADOR.

We would like to inform you about legal actions for the protection of NewJeans' rights.

Since the debut of NewJeans, we have been continuously monitoring and taking legal action against malicious online posts aimed at the artist. Due to the rapid increase in the quantity and severity of malicious posts targeting the artist, we have employed additional dedicated staff and enhanced our response system.

We are continuously documenting serious rights infringement cases such as disparagement regarding the artist's nationality and appearance, dissemination of false facts (fake news), invasion of privacy, malicious insults and the use of slurs across numerous online sites and social media channels such as DC Inside, Ilgan Best, Nate Pan, Afem Korea, Naver, Blind, Gaedrip, Theku, Ppomppu, X (formerly Twitter), and YouTube. We are actively requesting immediate removal as well as pursuing legal procedures.

In particular, we are taking criminal action against malicious posts that are repetitive or severe enough to reach a criminal level. Currently, we have submitted a complaint to the Yongsan Police Station, and we plan to continue pursuing additional complaints in the future.

Moreover, we are responding rigorously to deepfake crimes, which have become a significant social issue. We are closely cooperating with law enforcement regarding the production and dissemination of false videos targeting the artist, and a related suspect has been transferred to the prosecution while in custody.

ADOR will not engage in any settlements or leniency in legal actions related to the protection of the artist's rights, and we are actively identifying additional measures that can be taken at the company level to ensure that the perpetrator receives appropriate punishment.

The interest and reports from fans regarding legal actions are of great assistance. We encourage you to provide active reports through the 'HYBE Artist Rights Violation Reporting Site' regarding any infringement of artists' rights.

We are always grateful for the love and dedication from our fans, and ADOR will continue to strive for the protection of our artists' rights.

Thank you.
