Actor Lee Soo-hyuk graced the cover of 'Cine21.'
Two versions of the cover and the photoshoot he did as the lead in the movie 'Paran' for the magazine 'Cine21' issue 1501 have been revealed.
This is not the first meeting between Lee Soo-hyuk and 'Cine21.' Having been interviewed as a rising star selected by 'Cine21' in 2009, Lee Soo-hyuk showed a significant transformation, emerging as a cover star in 2025, 16 years later.
In the released images, Lee Soo-hyuk perfectly embodied a variety of outfits, from an ivory-colored suit to a black setup, captivating attention with his intense and deep gaze and natural poses.
In a concurrent interview, when asked about the moment he dreamed of becoming an actor, Lee Soo-hyuk answered, "The memories of the theater and the video lending shop I frequented since childhood come to mind. Looking back, there has never been a time when movies weren't a part of my life. I wanted to be a part of the movies."
He also expressed his affection for the work, saying about his first impression of the script for 'Paran,' "I thought it was a piece that captured emotional points I had never felt before. After deciding to appear, I had a strong desire to do really well."
Meanwhile, the movie 'Paran,' which premiered today (the 9th), is an emotional mystery depicting the unexpected journey of two people—the son of the perpetrator who has been swapped and the daughter of the victim—who, unable to die due to their families' sins, truly come to wish to live. Lee Soo-hyuk plays Yoon Tae-hwa, a national representative clay shooting athlete, delivering a nuanced emotional performance and showcasing another transformation in his acting.
