Q. "Let's Get Married, Maenggong" has recorded high viewership and concluded successfully. One thought?
First of all, I would like to sincerely thank the viewers who showed great interest and love. It was such a warm and joyful set that I can't believe it's the end, and I miss it.
Q. Did you have anything special prepared before entering this work?
I became enchanted by the bright and candy-like character of Maeng Gong-hee while reading the script.
And coincidentally, I was learning boxing, and there were many scenes where Gong-hee boxes on the rooftop. So I tried to build up my stamina a bit more. Haha.
Q. What kind of person do you think Gong-hee is? Also, were there any points you focused on while portraying the character?
Gong-hee was a very honest, sharp, and hardworking character who believes in her path and lives for her dreams. So I think I tried to express myself honestly and comfortably, believing in Gong-hee and being myself.
Q. What was the most enjoyable moment or memorable scene while working on this project?
All the sets of the projects were so enjoyable, but this work had many characters to work with, and everyone got along so well. It seems we were very fortunate to work with the fellow actors and staff every time. A memorable scene would be the interview scene, where I reunite with a friend for the first time since childhood! It recently came back as a flashback, and it was so fresh, evoking the excitement and memories from that time, so I really liked that scene.
Q. What did you learn or how did you grow through this work?
Being on set with my role models for several months reinforced my dream of being an actor once again, and it also was a time for me to grow as a person, not just Park Ha-na the actress.
Q. How was the chemistry with your fellow actors on set?
A perfect score!
I feel like I still have to go for script readings on Mondays. I already miss the times we would choose a menu together, saying, "What should we eat today?" and playing rock-paper-scissors for coffee. Each day of filming was so enjoyable and precious.
Q. What kind of work do you think "Let's Get Married, Maenggong" will be for you?
"This time, I want to show this aspect!" Rather than that kind of concern, it will be remembered as a work where I tried to convey Gong-hee's sincerity, and I acted as honestly as I could.
Q. Last words to the viewers who loved "Let's Get Married, Maenggong"
I sincerely thank all the viewers who watched. I hope it will be a work that stays in your memory for a long time. Thank you.
