Lawyer Jeong Kyung-seok explained, 'While searching for similar cases in the U.S., I found a ruling. Then I discovered the discovery system and was able to find a lawyer in charge. I asked him if he wanted to work together via video conference, and I even traveled to Japan to meet that lawyer in person. Later, I applied for an information disclosure order in the U.S. court.'

However, during this process, the '탈덕수용소' channel was suddenly shut down. This was because Google headquarters notified users that they were 'requesting your information.' Fortunately, while Google had saved the account information, lawyer Jeong Kyung-seok received the personal information of '탈덕수용소' after confirming the actual name and address from two names and addresses, allowing him to smile.

Lawyer Jeong Kyung-seok said, 'I felt a sense of accomplishment because I brought an anonymous cyber criminal to court, someone no one else could catch,' and Jang Won-young won the first defamation lawsuit against the cyber criminal. The initial compensation verdict of 100 million won was later appealed by '탈덕수용소' and reduced to a final amount of 50 million won, which is still being recovered.

It was even reported that '탈덕수용소' purchased a villa with the earnings from the channel's operations. Lawyer Jeong Kyung-seok stated, 'I informed the investigative authorities of that fact so that measures could be taken to recover the criminal proceeds, which led to a provisional seizure. To fulfill his compensation obligation, he may have to sell it or take out a loan.'

Lawyer Jeong Kyung-seok, who mentioned that the earnings from fake news are also being reclaimed, warned cyber criminals, saying, 'In the past, they might have continued their operations even after paying fines, but now we are reclaiming all those profits and there are also compensation obligations and fines to be paid, so if caught, they will be ruined.'
