In the tvN entertainment program "You Quiz on the Block," actress Moon Ga-young shared her honest thoughts on the lingerie look controversy.

On the broadcast aired on the 9th, Moon Ga-young participated in a special episode titled "Desperate Struggle" on the tvN entertainment show "You Quiz on the Block" (hereafter referred to as "You Quiz").

On this day, Moon Ga-young revealed her reading notebook. She was an avid reader, leaving excerpts from various books, including "Proof of a Sphere" and "Waltz of Farewell."

Yoo Jae-suk admired, saying, "You are someone who has published a book. This is no small feat. I heard it has been printed up to the 8th edition. The revenue from the book sales was also donated to hospitals worth 100 million won," and asked, "What kind of book is it?" Moon Ga-young replied, "It's a collection of essays. I compiled things I have written over a long time."

Regarding the phrase "I'm good at waiting," Moon Ga-young said, "I mentioned it several times during auditions. When you audition, don't they ask, 'What are you good at? What are you confident in?' I really am good at waiting, and that was the starting point for my writing." Then Yoo Jae-suk asked, "Waiting can be boring and anxious. You've been active for 20 years since your debut, so did you not feel impatience or anxiety?"

Moon Ga-young recalled, "I felt it a lot. When I was younger, I felt it even more. When I was a child actor, during the golden age of child actors in the 2000s, the first to fourth parts of dramas started with child actors. So it was very competitive; it was difficult to consistently get ahead in auditions. One of the reasons people did not recognize my childhood acting was that, in a way, there were no hit works representing my child actor days, which made me feel sad at the time."

She continued, "I think there's not much difference between waiting and enduring. If you consistently stand still and wait, it seems that the right moment always comes. Since I started working from a young age, there were many jobs that required waiting. In the past, when there was no time constraint for child actors, I was almost always at the end of the queue. After a long wait, I was busy doing Sudoku and reading books to pass the time. Although I was a child, I wanted my representative work to do well faster. I attended auditions for 13 years."

Currently, Moon Ga-young, who maintains contact with former child actors like Kim Yoo-jung, Kim So-hyun, and Yeo Jin-goo, said, "Looking at everyone enduring through it all and being active now is both amazing and commendable. As I endure and keep going, I find that good things tend to appear suddenly. Instead, I should really be well-prepared during that time."

Meanwhile, Cho Sae-ho asked Moon Ga-young, "Many people are curious; you are famous as a fashionista, and you wear bold outfits when attending fashion week." Moon Ga-young replied, "They were outfits from collections, and I really like to challenge myself. Every time people think, 'Moon Ga-young likes books and is proper,' I feel a desire to bring some variation, and I think that might be why I do it."
