Actor Kang Ha-neul, who performed in the film 'Opposition', revealed episodes that gained attention in variety shows, including reading negative comments about Kim Won-hoon and comparisons with Kian84.

Kang Ha-neul conducted an interview on the morning of the 8th at a cafe in Seocho-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul. He talked about the upcoming release of the movie 'Opposition' (directed by Hwang Byeong-guk, provided/distributed by Plus M Entertainment, produced by HYBE Media Corp) and his recent updates during this meeting with domestic reporters.

'Opposition' is a crime action film that unfolds as the broker Opposition (Kang Ha-neul), who designs a drug ring in South Korea, interacts with a prosecutor (Yoo Hae-jin) aspiring for higher success and a detective (Park Hae-joon) fully committed to rooting out drug crimes, each with different goals. It is the latest work from HYBE Media Corp, praised as a well-made social critique crime film for its previous work 'The Insider'. This is also the new work presented by director Hwang Byeong-guk, who has worked on numerous projects including 'The Insider' and 'Seoul's Spring', returning after 14 years since 'Special Investigation Unit'.

Among them, Kang Ha-neul shone as the broker Opposition, who designs the drug ring. As the star of the film, he engaged in various promotional activities to showcase the movie. With the recent release of the film 'Streaming', his activities in entertainment have become even more prominent. He drew attention in shows from Coupang Play's 'Office Workers' to web entertainment 'Salon Drip 2'.

Regarding 'Office Workers', Kang Ha-neul said, "I found it entertaining. It was funny. The site was much more fun. I felt that while there were some jokes that I thought couldn't be aired, they cut them well at an appropriate level. The site was way more entertaining," he laughed.

He continued, "There’s no script there. There’s just a basic framework. You just say whatever pops into your head," referring to the scene reading negative comments about Kim Won-hoon that became a hot topic. He added, "I don’t know if he prepared it, but it wasn't something I was aware of in advance. It was fun. However, it was so entertaining, but I wondered if there was a way to bring it to life. I was cursing to myself and took it all in."

Many around him have reacted that Kang Ha-neul is similar to Kian84. Kang Ha-neul expressed, "I really like Kian84. I love that feeling. I love the feeling of flowing, living according to the wind. When people said his lifestyle is exactly like what is portrayed on TV, it felt like a bit of a life goal. I want to live like that, free and without concerns."

However, he clarified, "I don’t intend to reveal my daily life. I want to live as I do without it being public," and stated, "Actually, I don’t pay much attention to my surroundings. It’s similar, but I don’t have a dining table at home. Even when friends come over, we eat on the floor. Even then, friends often asked, 'Are you Kian84?' I didn't realize it until then. I thought, 'Why am I Kian84?' But setting the table feels bothersome for me. I just eat that way because it’s too much trouble to fold and clean it up."

He also commented, "In shows like 'I Live Alone', someone more entertaining should go on. If I were to show my life honestly, I would just be lying on the sofa—who would want to watch that? My friends didn't try to dissuade me from appearing. I have never been approached to participate," he said with a laugh.

'Opposition' will be released in theaters nationwide on the 16th.
