Actor Ji Soo drew a line regarding rumors of his friendship with Kim Soo Hyun, who is embroiled in the late Kim Sae Ron's underage dating allegations.
Ji Soo appeared on the Philippine reality show 'Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collaboration Edition' that aired on the 7th.
During the broadcast, Ji Soo was asked about Kim Soo Hyun, who has recently been the subject of controversy both domestically and internationally over the 'late Kim Sae Ron's underage dating allegations.' When the MC asked, 'Have you ever met Kim Soo Hyun?' Ji Soo said, 'In fact, no. I have never met him personally.'
Kim Soo Hyun and Ji Soo share the common factor of having belonged to the same agency in the past. However, their periods did not overlap. Kim Soo Hyun was with KeyEast from 2010 to 2019, while Ji Soo signed an exclusive contract in 2020 but left the agency in 2021 after being embroiled in school violence allegations.
Kim Soo Hyun is currently embroiled in allegations that he dated the late Kim Sae Ron when she was a minor. On the 31st of last month, 44 days after the death of Kim Sae Ron, Kim Soo Hyun spoke out, stating that he dated Kim Sae Ron approximately five years ago for about a year but did not have a relationship with her during her minor years.
Kim Soo Hyun has filed a defamation lawsuit against the bereaved family and an unidentified individual claiming to be an aunt, along with the operator of the Garosero Research Institute, and has also submitted a damage compensation lawsuit worth 12 billion won.
In particular, Kim Soo Hyun stated, 'What I did, I did. I can accept any criticism regarding that. However, what I did not do, I did not do.
