NCT member Mark (affiliated with SME) announced a successful solo debut by sweeping various global charts with his first solo album, 'The Firstfruit'.
Released on 7th, Mark's first solo album, 'The Firstfruit', recorded No. 1 on major album charts, including the Hanteo chart and Circle chart retail album chart, and the title track '1999' also reached No. 1 on the Bugs real-time chart as soon as it was released, highlighting the intense attention from music fans.
Additionally, Mark topped the QQ Music digital album sales chart in China with this album, reached No. 1 on the AWA real-time rising chart in Japan, and achieved No. 1 on the iTunes Top Album chart in 14 regions worldwide (Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Poland, Russia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Norway, Peru, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Turkey, Vietnam) as well as made the TOP 10 in a total of 24 regions including Germany, Japan, India, Sweden, and Australia.
On the 7th, Mark held a debut showcase at Seongsu Cultural and Art Stage FB Theater, and for the first time, he unveiled the stage of the album tracks including the title track '1999', 'Righteous', 'Raincouver', and 'Too Much', as well as the first stage of his solo song 'Child' after three years since its release, firmly imprinting the musical style and narrative of 'solo artist' Mark.
