The death of fitness YouTuber Kim Woong-seo has sparked a controversy following the release of a recording made by his common-law partner.

On the broadcast of SBS 'I Want to Know That' on 5th, shocking secrets behind the death of renowned fitness influencer Kim Woong-seo were investigated.

Kim Woong-seo was a fitness YouTuber with 120,000 subscribers and the head of a franchise company that owned dozens of outlets. However, news of his sudden death became known on 3rd of last month.

An individual identified as A, who claimed to be Kim Woong-seo's family member, revealed through the deceased's social media that Kim Woong-seo had suffered an 'accidental death.' However, later, Kim Woong-seo's company published a commemorative message stating that he had died of 'heart failure,' leading to various speculations about the cause of death.

In particular, on the day of the funeral, a lengthy post is believed to have been published at midnight, which the deceased likely wrote in advance and scheduled, but it was deleted after four minutes, raising suspicions. The deceased stated, "At this time, when this post is made public, I will probably no longer be a person in this world," and added, "My feelings while writing this are incredibly heavy. Surely, there must be people who want to die in this world. There have been many injustices while living. I apologize for showing a bad side at the end."

He also stated, "The fraudster Kim OO, who planned for this to happen and even spoke to me face-to-face while committing a large-scale scam. I will blame and curse you even in death, and the embezzlement charges you committed will be pursued by the corporation," which drew attention.

The will is reported to have been deleted by A, and when Kim Woong-seo's family received the call and arrived at the funeral hall, A was welcoming guests dressed in mourning clothes at the empty space. The person named Kim, who was cursed in Kim Woong-seo's will, was also in mourning clothes. They left the funeral hall after receiving complaints from the family.

Subsequently, Kim Woong-seo's father restored 1,700 currency recordings through a forensic examination of his son's mobile phone, and it was revealed that 430 of them were calls with A. In particular, some recordings indicated that A seemed to be directly planning the death of the deceased, which was shocking.

A was in an extramarital affair with Kim Woong-seo, and the two lived together while Kim Woong-seo was still in the midst of a divorce lawsuit with his wife. The following year, they welcomed a son. Their common-law relationship had ended a year prior to Kim Woong-seo's death.

In the released recordings, A left remarks such as, "You really decided to die, and it's a grateful thing that you thought of these situations and did this. But that’s only true when you die," "Did you save the contacts of people in your phone separately?" and "If you die…"

A also made comments like, "You won't die today, right?" "Then don't die today," "You said you would write everything in the will? Just look at that, right?" "You need to organize your contact list," and "Unlock your mobile phone password before you go," and Kim Woong-seo left a final message saying, "I’m really going now, goodbye."

In response, A acknowledged partial involvement in planning Kim Woong-seo's death through 'I Want to Know That,' but claimed, "I kept trying to dissuade him. I urged him to live," adding, "Every time I tried to stop him, he reacted more impulsively and I didn't know what to do. I too found each day difficult."

He further stated, "Kim Woong-seo was suffering from pressure related to honor and financial situations," asserting, "Kim really hated his family. He even said, 'When I die, expel my family from the funeral home.' The reason he didn't hand over the phone to his family was because of that."

Regarding the deletion of the will, he explained, "It was an emotionally judgmental decision. I deleted it because I was afraid of causing more unfortunate rumors."
