In the same location where T-ara's Jiyeon married three years ago, Hyomin has tied the knot. Jiyeon returned to the place that held both the joys and tears of her life to celebrate the member's marriage and show her strong friendship.

Hyomin wed a finance industry worker at a hotel in Jung-gu, Seoul, on Dec. 6. The wedding was held in private, inviting only family, relatives, and close friends.

Hyomin's marriage was announced in February. The invitation card featuring the phrase, "On the first day of a new beginning, I invite those who have cherished me by my side," left an impression, and Hyomin's husband is a finance worker known for his tall stature and handsome appearance. It was reported that they decided to become lifelong partners after being charmed by his consideration and character.

Hyomin said, "While he may not be a heartthrob, I have met a wonderful man in my eyes, and I am getting married. Preparing for the wedding has made me realize once again the gratitude I feel toward those who have cherished me all along. I sincerely thank those who have shown interest in my personal news and congratulated me, and I want to promise my fans that my grateful heart will not change. I will work hard and stay sincere as Park Sun-young going forward."

Along with the news of the marriage, attention was drawn to the location of the wedding. The venue for Hyomin's wedding was the same place where T-ara's youngest Jiyeon married Hwang Jae-kyun three years ago. Jiyeon wed baseball player Hwang Jae-kyun at a hotel in Jung-gu, Seoul, on Dec. 10, 2022. T-ara members Ham Eun-jung, Hyomin, Qri, broadcaster Jeon Hyun-moo, comedian Park Na-rae, webtoon artist Kian84, actors Lee Si-eon, Oh Yoon-ah, stylist Han Hye-yeon, and others were present. Baseball players Ryu Hyun-jin, coach Yeom Kyung-yeob, Heo Do-hwan, Kang Baek-ho, Sim Woo-jun, and Oh Seung-hwan were also spotted.

However, Jiyeon's marriage did not last long. About two years later, divorce rumors surfaced in June, and the marriage came to an end on Nov. 20 when divorce mediation was established at the Seoul Family Court. With Hyomin's wedding taking place the day after, Jiyeon shared a video of herself singing Lee Yeo-jun's song, "Did I feel at ease that day?" on her social media account, leaving a poignant message with lyrics such as, "You did the homework I couldn't do," "I cried as much as the cigarettes you smoked," "Don't say my words were wounds," and "I made you the reason."

For Jiyeon, the hotel in Jung-gu, Seoul, likely holds the joy of marriage as well as the wound of divorce. However, it is reported that Jiyeon attended Hyomin's wedding to show her solid friendship and offer her congratulations. T-ara members Ham Eun-jung, Qri, and others also attended, while Jeon Bo-ram made a rare appearance. Soyeon was reported to have been unable to attend due to unavoidable circumstances.

Hyomin's wedding was attended by numerous stars in addition to T-ara members. Among those present were Girls' Generation's Yuri, Big Bang's Daesung, Girl's Day's Yura, Sistar's Bora, singers Kim Jae-joong, Gummy, actors Kang Ye-won, Ahn Jae-hyun, Lee Dong-wook, Lim Si-wan, broadcaster Cho Sae-ho, and Hong Seok-cheon. Notably, Gummy and Lim Si-wan were known to have sung congratulatory songs.

Meanwhile, Hyomin debuted in 2008 with an appearance in the music video for FT Island's "Heaven" and gained much love while active in the group T-ara. Currently, she is engaging in various activities alongside her work with T-ara without being affiliated to any agency.
