“SEVENTEEN RIGHT HERE!”

The group SEVENTEEN (S.Coups, Jeonghan, Joshua, Jun, Hoshi, Wonwoo, Woozi, DK, Mingyu, Dogyum, Seungkwan, Vernon, Dino) has once again made a strong mark on the international stage. They set out as the first K-pop artists to headline the ‘Tecate Pa’l Norte 2025’ (hereafter known as Pa’l Norte) in Mexico, expanding their global influence.

SEVENTEEN performed at the main stage ‘Tecate Light’ of the ‘Pa’l Norte’ festival held at Fundidora Park in Monterrey, Mexico, at 8:20 p.m. on the 4th (local time). They heated up the venue with a set lasting about one hour, showcasing more than 13 songs. True to their reputation as ‘performance masters,’ they captivated local music fans with dynamic performances, seasoned stage manners, and a wide musical spectrum.

As SEVENTEEN appeared with a live band playing rich sounds, the vast concert hall was soon filled with cheers. They unleashed a wave of positive energy with consecutive performances of ‘LOVE, MONEY, FAME (feat. DJ Khaled),’ ‘Left & Right,’ and ‘Snap Shoot.’ Starting with Hoshi and Woozi’s single ‘BEAM’ released on the 10th of last month, the unit stages showcased SEVENTEEN’s diverse charms with hip-hop team’s ‘Water,’ performance team’s ‘Rain,’ and vocal team’s ‘Youth Anthem.’

With the outdoor concert’s winning song ‘Headliner’ and a stage performance filled with SEVENTEEN’s distinctive positive energy, the festival atmosphere reached its peak. Members inducing cheers by approaching the audience showcased their traits as ‘festival champions.’ The powerful band performance combined with grand choreography in ‘March’ and ‘SONOKONG’ was truly spectacular. The music, arranged with heightened intensity, combined with powerful performances, escalated the excitement at the venue.

Visiting Mexico for the first time in about five years, SEVENTEEN greeted the audience in the local language and actively communicated with them. Fans responded enthusiastically. For major songs like ‘HOT’ and ‘Music God,’ Korean cheers erupted. The official SEVENTEEN light sticks, known as ‘CARAT BONG,’ filled the audience, while flags and placards with members' names waved everywhere. The members expressed their overwhelming feelings, saying, “Our global CARATs created this moment” and “We will never forget this day.”

Before the concert, at a local media briefing, SEVENTEEN expressed, “We are glad to be the first K-pop artists to be with ‘Pa’l Norte.’ It’s enjoyable to see fans from around the world connect and enjoy music, regardless of language or nationality.” General leader S.Coups noted, “We are known for performing well. We will showcase our true selves at ‘Pa’l Norte’” and added, “I hope to visit Mexico again on our world tour,” building anticipation.

Known as ‘Mexico’s Coachella,’ ‘Pa’l Norte’ is one of the largest music festivals in Latin America. SEVENTEEN has made its mark as a headliner this year alongside Olivia Rodrigo, Green Day, Benson Boon, and Charli XCX, affirming their high global status.

After successfully completing their ‘Pa’l Norte’ performance, SEVENTEEN heads to Japan. They will hold the ‘SEVENTEEN 2025 JAPAN FAN MEETING ‘HOLIDAY’ at Kyocera Dome Osaka on the 24th and 26th-27th, and at Saitama Super Arena on May 10th-11th.
