HYBE's next-generation J-pop boy group team name has been confirmed as 'aoen.'

'Aoen' symbolizes the flame color of 'blue light,' which burns the hottest, and embodies the group's ambition to perform with intense passion and energy. There will be a total of 7 debut members, with 5 being announced in the program's final episode, while the remaining 2 will be selected through viewer voting after the show's conclusion.

HYBE Music Group's subsidiary YX Labels noted this during the audition program 'Cheers-HIGH ~ Dream's START LINE~' aired on Nihon TV on the 5th.

The broadcast depicted the journey of 9 participants who began their final race in the competition. The contestants performed three songs: the program's signal song ('FINISH LINE ~ 終わりと始まりの ~'), the final song ('Cough Syrup'), and the ending song ('君と刻む足跡'), racing toward their dreams.

The competitiveness required of them is the ability to complete stages with contrasting atmospheres. Participants will be assessed on key capabilities needed for debut, including expressiveness, concept interpretation, performance skills, and teamwork, through songs that showcase intense and powerful performances as well as those delivering encouragement with refreshing sounds. Although judges provided critical feedback and advice during the mid-evaluation, the participants encouraged each other, preparing to pour all their passion and energy into the final stage.

The audition program 'Cheers-HIGH ~ Dream's START LINE~' will conclude on the 12th. An extended version, including unseen scenes from the broadcast, will be available for viewing on the online video service Hulu.
