Lee Sun-bin and Kang Tae-oh found out each other's sincere feelings.

In the 11th episode of the tvN weekend drama 'The Potato Lab' (directed by Kang Il-soo and Shim Jae-hyun, written by Kim Ho-soo, planned by CJ ENM Studios, produced by Chorokbaem Media), Kim Mi-kyung (played by Lee Sun-bin) and So Baek-ho (played by Kang Tae-oh) hurt each other. Kim Mi-kyung harshly told So Baek-ho, who spread rumors that they had broken up, to not let themselves be seen or heard, and revealed her inner thoughts by asking whether he couldn’t have held her back even just a couple of times. Moreover, at So Baek-ho's confession, asking, “If I say I love you, would you come back to me?” Kim Mi-kyung's tearful ending heightened curiosity about the outcome of their romance.

On that day, Kim Mi-kyung and So Baek-ho chose to distance themselves from each other. Unable to forgive So Baek-ho, Kim Mi-kyung threw away all the items associated with their memories. Meanwhile, rumors spread at The Potato Lab that the two had broken up. Kim Mi-kyung warned So Baek-ho that she wanted to be left alone until her last day at the lab. She also expressed her anger, telling him to disappear without being seen or heard. Both Kim Mi-kyung’s harsh words and So Baek-ho’s heart, pricked by her sharp words, were wounded.

So Baek-ho, who decided to stay in Seoul for a while as Kim Mi-kyung suggested, visited a guest house due to a remark from Park Gi-se (played by Lee Hak-joo). After realizing that So Baek-ho had no plans in Seoul, Park Gi-se sensed that something had happened between the two. Eventually, Park Gi-se informed So Baek-ho that Kim Mi-kyung was unwell, and So Baek-ho secretly took care of her. Upon discovering this, Kim Mi-kyung burst out with the emotions she had been trying to suppress. She shouted whether he was secretly looking after her because he didn’t want to be the bad person, to which So Baek-ho replied that he hid because he was someone who should not be seen or heard.

As Kim Mi-kyung and So Baek-ho were hurting each other, they soon came to understand each other's sincere feelings. So Baek-ho threw himself to stop a ladder that was about to fall on Kim Mi-kyung. In that moment, Kim Mi-kyung, upset, yelled at him for potentially getting hurt, while So Baek-ho explained that it was an unconscious action. Kim Mi-kyung, who had been hurling harsh words, expressed her disappointment toward So Baek-ho, saying that he could have held on to her a few times and tried to change her mind. Only then did So Baek-ho realize that his attempts to be considerate of Kim Mi-kyung had made things harder for him. Coming to understand his genuine feelings late, So Baek-ho decided to hold on to Kim Mi-kyung. His words, “If I say I love you, would you come back to me?” left Kim Mi-kyung with teary eyes, raising curiosity about how their tangled relationship would conclude.

Meanwhile, a hidden story about the breakup of Kim Mi-kyung and Park Gi-se involving Lee Yong-joo (played by Kim Ga-eun) was revealed. Lee Yong-joo, who learned before Kim Mi-kyung that Park Gi-se was preparing to marry someone else, regarded it as natural to inform Kim Mi-kyung about Park Gi-se’s request for her to give him a chance to speak. However, his fear of Kim Mi-kyung breaking up with the person she loved because of his words caused him anxiety. After six years, Lee Yong-joo finally confessed the truth to Kim Mi-kyung, who appreciated being held back when she was willing to give up everything more than the secret about Park Gi-se. The scene where Kim Mi-kyung and Lee Yong-joo embraced and wept together offered a touching warmth.

The final episode of the tvN weekend drama 'The Potato Lab' will air today (6th) at 9:20 p.m.
