On the first broadcast of KBS2's 'Volunteer' on the 5th, a fierce competition unfolded against the Gyeongsang United Team, the first opponent in the national futsal championship project. The Gyeongsang United Team included top players from Daegu MuboqqaFS, GumiFS, Pohang JichindaFS, Ulsan HadesFS, and Ulsan Hyundai High School. This competition had a total of 10 million won in donations at stake, including 500,000 won per game for five games, totaling 2.5 million won, and an additional prize of 500,000 won based on the final win/loss.

The first match against Daegu MuboqqaFS began with a heavy atmosphere as they conceded the first goal just two minutes into the game. This was due to the unpredictable pattern of the opposing player Kim Seong-ji, which broke down the 'Volunteer' defense line. Before the game, Lee Chan-won noted, 'Since we are not professional players, we cannot predict the play,' and singled out Kim Seong-ji as the ace, which turned out to be accurate.



Caught off guard by the unexpected flow of the game, Kim Young-gwang asked, 'Why do our players seem sluggish?' and Jo Won-hee expressed frustration, saying, 'I can't move.' Lee Chan-won pointed out, 'The 'Volunteer' team has become noticeably slower and has lost its movement. We need to return to our original mindset.' In the end, the match against MuboqqaFS resulted in a 1-0 loss for the 'Volunteer.' Lee Yong-pyo analyzed that 'the physical burden of the front pressure strategy was a critical mistake.'

In the following game against GumiFS, the 'Volunteer' scored the first goal through the top scorer Hyun Young-min, turning the venue into a festival. The atmosphere intensified even more as the goal was scored after intercepting an attack from the team's ace, the 'Brazilian mercenary' Giovanni. However, the match returned to square one as the 'Volunteer' was hit with a surprise shot from GumiFS's Joo Young-jae. In a tense contest that ended up 1-1, the game went to penalties, where the 'Volunteer' lost 4-3. Lee Chan-won expressed concern, saying, 'At this rate, we are going to lose all 10 million won.'
