Comedian Jo Hye-ryun experienced an awkward situation.
On the 5th, Jo Hye-ryun posted a photo on her personal channel with the caption, "Talking with AI! Let's not use informal speech! When I asked Hanni if this content was funny, it said it was, so I'm posting it! hehe."
The shared photo is a screenshot of a conversation Jo Hye-ryun had with the AI. Jo Hye-ryun asked, "Is Jo Hye-ryun male?" and the AI listed information about Jo Hye-ryun by stating she is a "female."
The AI brought up detailed information, saying, "She married for the first time in 1999 and had two children, later divorcing and remarrying," which made Jo Hye-ryun feel embarrassed.
Jo Hye-ryun questioned, "Why are you talking about my divorce? That wasn't what I asked," to which the AI quickly clarified, "Oh, I'm sorry! I just tried to provide background information, but I ended up overstepping. If I answer just your question, Jo Hye-ryun is female!"
In response, Jo Hye-ryun countered, "But Yoo Jae-suk and everyone else call me 'hyung,' right?" The AI explained, "Oh, that can indeed be confusing! That's just the entertainment vibe, a comedy code. Jo Hye-ryun is seen as more of a 'noona' with a friendly, hyung-like vibe."
The AI then asked, "Do you have more questions? Talking about this is fun," and Jo Hye-ryun playfully responded, "Why do you find it fun? And you're using informal speech subtly!"
Park Seul-ki, who witnessed their conversation, noted, "Sister, I feel sorry for the AI," while Haha reacted, "It's funny that you're so sensitive, noona."
