The traces of the new activity name 'NJZ' announced by NewJeans members are disappearing.
On the afternoon of 4th, the SNS account 'njz_official' that was established after the members of NewJeans initiated their individual activities has now been changed to 'mhdhh_friends.'
'mhdhh' is a combination of the initials of Minji, Hanni, Danielle, Haerin, and Hyein, highlighting the individual names of the members rather than the new activity name 'NJZ,' as the provisional injunction filed by ADOR was granted, halting their independent activities.
The NewJeans members have also deleted all posts they had uploaded to that account. Along with this, the account that conveyed the official stance of NewJeans' parents has also been changed from 'njz_pr' to 'mhdhh_pr.'
Previously, NewJeans declared the termination of their exclusive contract with ADOR during a press conference in November of last year. Subsequently, they announced their individual activities under the new activity name 'NJZ' in February.
In response, the agency ADOR filed a lawsuit to confirm the validity of the exclusive contract, claiming it remains valid until July 2029, and submitted a request for a provisional injunction to secure its status as an agency and to prohibit the signing of advertising contracts in opposition to the members' independent activities.
In relation to this, the Seoul Central District Court granted ADOR's request for a provisional injunction against the NewJeans members on the 21st of last month, preventing NewJeans from participating in independent activities without ADOR’s permission.
Subsequently, the NewJeans members declared a halt to their activities on the 23rd of the same month at ComplexCon held in Hong Kong.
