Comedian Park Seong-gwang's wife, Lee Sol-yi, candidly revealed that she is battling women's cancer, receiving a lot of support while sharing her daily life like any other time. In the past, there may have been misunderstandings about her, but many people now see Lee Sol-yi's daily life from a different perspective following her confession about her cancer battle.

Lee Sol-yi shared a photo of herself visiting a shabu-shabu restaurant on the 5th, saying, "Today is a date day, so I came out to eat! Shabu-shabu or Vietnamese spring rolls are truly the best healthy dining options." She continued, "I'm eating a lot of vegetables. Let’s also have some moist meat," showcasing her healthy dining experience.

After appearing on SBS's "Same Bed, Different Dreams 2 – You Are My Destiny" on the 2nd, Lee Sol-yi expressed her struggles and pain due to a flood of malicious comments. Currently battling women's cancer, Lee Sol-yi said, "After resigning, I naturally started preparing for a child, but after five months, I was diagnosed with cancer. Due to the nature of women's cancer, I cannot have children, and I felt a tremendous guilt towards my parents and in-laws for not being able to protect my health. Given the poor nature of the cancer, I experienced great frustration not knowing whether I could live for another year or three," she stated.

She added, "I underwent surgery and cytotoxic chemotherapy for six months, had to be cautious when going outside, couldn't eat food, vomited daily, lost weight, had damaged skin, and lost my hair... I endured a really tough time going back and forth to the emergency room. I’m still undergoing treatment while taking medication," explaining, "That's why I couldn't have children, and that situation persists."

Lee Sol-yi, who still has some time until recovery and is currently undergoing treatment, had a reason for revealing this fact. She said, "I was so heartbroken to be portrayed as a 'luxurious woman,' 'a woman who doesn't have children,' and 'a woman who uses her husband like an ATM' amidst provocative articles and distorted views."

Lee Sol-yi shared, "I suddenly wondered if I was too absorbed in my own emotions and felt sorry for my husband and family. I worry that the shadow might fall on my husband, who is happy to bring joy to the public. There were articles incorrectly reporting that I might not live for a few years, but that is not true."

Along with this, Lee Sol-yi revealed photos from her cancer battle, evoking sympathy. She posted a photo of neatly arranged cherry tomatoes, broccoli, and bell peppers. Notably, she shared a picture of herself with hair growing back after shaving it off during her cancer treatment, saying, "This photo was taken by my husband when my hair was growing back after finishing chemotherapy, and it looked like an acorn."

As Lee Sol-yi mentioned, it is true that she was portrayed as a 'luxurious woman,' 'a woman who doesn't have children,' and 'a woman who uses her husband like an ATM.' However, she courageously confessed to battling women's cancer, clearing up misunderstandings. Lee Sol-yi honestly expressed, "Now that three years have passed, I hope people view me living an ordinary life as 'a bit freer' rather than 'immature.'"

Although there were many misunderstandings about Lee Sol-yi until now, she is receiving a lot of support by sharing her daily life healthily after clearing those misunderstandings through her cancer battle confession.
