I was completely captivated by Lee Soo-kyung's charm in "When Life Gives You Tangerines."

The Netflix series "When Life Gives You Tangerines" (written by Lim Sang-chun, directed by Kim Won-seok) ranked 3rd in the Netflix Global TOP 10 Series (non-English) institutional sector, and it concluded brilliantly, topping the TOP 10 list in a total of 39 countries, including South Korea, Bolivia, Chile, Morocco, the Philippines, and Malaysia. Among them, Lee Soo-kyung's passionate performance as Boo Hyun-sook has garnered enthusiastic reviews from viewers worldwide.

Netflix's "When Life Gives You Tangerines" is a series that tells the adventurous life of Aesun, a feisty girl born in Jeju, and the clumsy Man-nok, through the four seasons. In the show, Boo Hyun-sook is the daughter of the local notable Boo Sang-gil (played by Choi Dae-hoon) in the Dodong-ri area and becomes the girlfriend of Yang Eun-myung (played by Kang Yoo-seok), ultimately becoming a part of the family with Aesun (played by Moon So-ri) and Man-nok (played by Park Hae-joon).

Lee Soo-kyung, who made her full appearance as Yang Eun-myung's girlfriend and a rich girl in Act 3, showcased a visual perfectly embodied in Boo Hyun-sook with her short, rebellious hairstyle, capturing viewers' attention firmly. She revealed deep affection for Yang Eun-myung while shedding tears, and even showcased a coy yet confident demeanor in a situation where Aesun and Man-nok found out about her, announcing the birth of a new Juliet in Dodong-ri.

She intricately built up the character of Boo Hyun-sook, who evolves from an immature daughter to a daughter-like daughter-in-law, effectively portraying the moments of change with realistic performance. She created an organic ensemble with each character, highlighting the delicate differences in expression, gaze, and speech in just one scene, accurately capturing Boo Hyun-sook's life and the emotions she has felt.

Despite her clumsy demeanor, Boo Hyun-sook has a deep side that Li Soo-kyung has brilliantly completed with her charming and mischievous appeal, drawing attention to her new role.
