As the impeachment trial of President Yoon Suk-yeol is set to be held at 11 a.m. on the 4th, SBS will suspend all broadcasts except for 'Buried Hearts' and operate under special news coverage.

On the 3rd, an SBS official told OSEN, "The schedule on the 4th will consist of news special coverage, excluding the regular broadcast of the drama 'Buried Hearts.'" Consequently, programs such as 'Live Today' and 'Curious Story Y' will be canceled.

Previously, on the 1st, the Constitutional Court announced that it would conduct the impeachment ruling for President Yoon Suk-yeol at 11 a.m. on April 4.

As a result, the broadcasting industry has urgently changed schedules or adjusted plans. First, the MBC drama 'Crushology 101,' which was scheduled to premiere on the same day, has rescheduled its debut to the 11th, and KBS1's daily drama 'Catch Your Luck' has pushed its premiere date to the 14th due to the change in the ending date of its predecessor, 'Let's Get Married,' caused by news special coverage.

Additionally, the theater production 'Pink Lipstick' was scheduled to hold a press call that afternoon but had to cancel the event due to the impeachment ruling schedule.

Broadcasting stations including SBS are expected to continue discussions regarding future programming until the day of the impeachment trial.
