JYP Entertainment (hereinafter referred to as JYP) girl group NiziU has released behind-the-scenes cuts of the music video for their new song 'LOVE LINE (Destiny Line)' and has raised expectations for their music broadcast activities starting today (3rd).
NiziU made their comeback by releasing their second Korean single 'LOVE LINE' and the title track 'LOVE LINE (Destiny Line)' on March 31. They will perform the title track 'LOVE LINE (Destiny Line)' starting with Mnet 'M Countdown' on the 3rd, followed by MBC 'Show! Music Core' on the 5th and SBS 'Inkigayo' on the 6th.
The title track 'LOVE LINE (Destiny Line)' is a song based on the story that 'one is connected to their fated counterpart by a red thread,' using the 'fate line' of the palm to metaphorically express feelings toward a loved one. The music video captures the journey of the nine members assigned with a special mission to connect people's destinies. An exciting storyline with cute imaginations and a kitschy, retro mood provides various points of immersion.
JYP released behind-the-scenes photos of the 'LOVE LINE (Destiny Line)' music video on the afternoon of the 3rd, responding to fans' love. In the photos, members Mako, Riku, Rima, Rio, Maya, Miihi, Mayuka, Ayaka, and Nina displayed the team's unique lively energy with playful smiles and photogenic poses against a backdrop of stylish neon signs and colorful threads. In individual shots, they showcased their unique personalities with confident expressions and styling highlighting a street mood.
NiziU held a countdown live on their official YouTube channel at 5 p.m. on the day of their comeback and interacted with fans. They celebrated the new album's release by unboxing the album, watching teaser videos, commenting, and sharing album spoiler keywords. The members noted, "We are excited and happy to come back after our enjoyable debut activities in Korea. We hope our fans, WithU, can enjoy the new album that we prepared with great effort."
NiziU made a strong impression in the music industry within just nine days of their official debut with the Korean single album 'Press Play' and the title track 'HEARTRIS,' achieving first place in music broadcasts and ranking seventh in the first week sales for K-pop girl group debut albums at that time. After approximately one year and five months, they are presenting deeper music and performances with their domestic first comeback work 'LOVE LINE.'
