BTS member Jin visited the wildfire-affected area in Andong to volunteer.

On the 3rd, his agency Big Hit Music noted to OSEN regarding Jin's volunteering, "We wanted to provide even a small amount of help to those affected by the wildfire, so we decided to participate in the volunteer activity."

Earlier that day, Jin conducted meal service at Gilyeon Middle School located in Gilyeon-myeon, Andong.

Witnessed by residents of the affected area, Jin was reported to have carried out the service while wearing a black hat and cardigan and tying on an apron from Theborn Korea.

This volunteer work is a free meal service carried out by Theborn Korea, led by Baek Jong-won, which has been providing over 300 servings of food at each meal since the 28th of last month to disaster victims, firefighters, and others. It is said that Jin traveled to Andong following his close friend, Baek Jong-won.

In addition, the other BTS members have donated a significant amount to help with the disaster recovery after hearing the news of the wildfire. Member Jungkook donated 1 billion won, V 200 million won, and RM, J-Hope, and Suga each donated 100 million won.

Meanwhile, Jin has consistently extended his helping hand. In 2019, he became a member of the "UNICEF Honor Society" after surpassing a cumulative donation of 100 million won to UNICEF. In January, he also donated 100 million won to Korea University Medical Center for patients with rare diseases in underdeveloped countries.
