Previously, Ahn ended his marriage with his ex-wife Goo Hye-sun in July 2020 after conflicts. Despite the pain after the divorce, Ahn shared another story of growth while overcoming hardships.

Recently, Ahn Jae-hyun, who granted his appearance on the 'Gukju's House' corner, mentioned that he had a traffic accident in the year he turned 20, saying, "I was lying in the hospital for six months. I was sitting in the back seat of a taxi when it crashed like this. Two ribs were broken, and when I opened my eyes, there was a tube in me. I had a pneumothorax, my lung burst, and I was lying there with an IV." This surprised everyone.

Ahn Jae-hyun recalled, "I started by really objectifying myself, asking, 'What are you going to eat?' At that time, I felt I lacked the visual appeal to be an entertainer. Moreover, after my model debut, I talked about my financial hardships, saying, 'I don’t know if it has changed now, but I thought models made a lot of money. I graduated from an academy and shot my first magazine. The magazine paid 50,000 to 80,000 won each.' Ahn Baek-kyung lamented, 'It hasn't increased much; I've heard it's still like that these days.'

Ahn Jae-hyun said, "At that time, getting featured in magazines was a wish, right? But one day, an advertisement came in. The main model was Lee Soo-hyuk, and it was to be displayed prominently on a billboard in Apgujeong. I was shot for it. Do you know how much I got featured? If you have Lee Soo-hyuk in front, how much do you think I appear? It turns out I was shown this much. If your face doesn’t appear in the advertisement, they don’t pay you much. I think it was inside 800,000 won," he said.

Amidst this, Ahn Jae-hyun is showing his growth one step at a time, overcoming all his pain. Recently, it was reported that his jewelry brand has entered Japan. Ahn's jewelry brand launched in a shopping mall in Shibuya, Tokyo. The brand was introduced in the form of a popup store for four days, attracting significant attention.

Ahn Jae-hyun said, "The lifespan of a model is short, but I wanted to continue working in fashion. During that time, my interest in jewelry grew, and I decided to create my own brand," sharing his motivation and revealing his ambitions as a jewelry designer. He is currently balancing his acting career and business while continuing his activities in the entertainment industry.
